Trekking on the Hill

Summary:

The JSA young men are doing trekking by reaching on the hill to see the sunrise.

Work Text:

Trekking on the hard, rocky ground at grand tree hill in the early morning is quite a tough challenge. It requires a lot of strength and energy to go through all these pillars and rocks that hinder the foot landing spots. The guys were tired, sweaty and feeling overwhelmed with the humidity of the weather today. It is an early morning and the guys of JSA wake up to do some great activity moments.

Al is panting hard on breath, his whole body shivers and shaking from the trekking movement. He hates running and walking since he rarely do much when he spends most of his time, shifting himself like a giant man. Little he knows that he doesn’t gain much stamina thanks to his growing ability.

Al: Hey, hold it right there. I can’t catch up with all of you.

Rick is trekking with his black top tank and yellow shorts. He seems to be sweaty but still maintain some great stamina. The other guys didn’t know if he took the miraclo pills to cheat during the exercise without their knowledge. But that's not possible since Rick said he decided to quit intake some pills. Perhaps, he is wearing the stopwatch that shape like a mini hourglass.

Rick: Don't call it a quit, Al. We are sure you just barely used your legs often.

Sandy wears a green polo shirt, with black short pants along with a bottle on his pocket to keep himself hydrated. He is panting out some breath and sweating as he tries to make some steps across the dirt ground. He looks behind and sees the others try to catch up the distance before he shifts back to tell the other in front of him.

Sandy: Hey, Todd. It looks like your giant friend is exhausting. We were out of the hills for almost an hour. How long are we going to be there yet?

Todd is wearing a red cap under the sun, blue sleeveless shirt just like he used to when he is Obsidian. He wears a purple short pair that looks like it belongs for the gay community. He has the smug, mischievous look as he looks back at the other before he gives some answers.

Todd: I don't know man, we just go whatever Rick says according to the map. Must be the top hill he mentions in the chat.

Rick: Hey, I am just saying but that spot is the best place to see the sun. It's gonna be breathtaking once we reach there.a

Sandy: Well to be said. We did stop by to get some rest before we continued our trekking. My feets is sore with all these branches and rocks that are hurling my path.

Al: Yeah, never get used to running for a long distance. I like being in giant, it's easy to get to another place without using much movement.

Hank: But you might end up crashing some building and that without your knowing.

Hank is running with a red top along with blue shorts. He seems to run with some easing manner, mostly didn't use much of his energy to speedrun with them during the trekking. This is something he do to keep himself from stress.

Along with him is none other than Nate Heywood. He is wearing a silver shirt with long red pants. He couldn't walk fast or run since his steel ability is quite heavy to make a quick move. He is fine with it since he also want to see the scenery at the same time.

Nate: I can't blame you all. But I am glad you invite me to join along with so call this outdoor trekking.

Al: Hank. I get it. You change a lot ever since we draw apart a lot but I am happy you accept to join us for the trekking.

Hank: Don't worry. Everyday is a learning and growing process.

Todd: Okay, quit teasing like that. We went for a long journey and saw how far we go.

Nate: Are you sure we are reaching that destination?

Rick: Yeah, right now. We need to get past through the river and then we would reach that hill.

Rick points at the tall hill which has trees cover up the landslide.

Sandy: Wow, we are getting very close.

Hank: C'mon guys. What are we waiting for? Let me help you all cross the river. I can use my telepath to keep you all balanced while walking through.

Al: Good. Cause I almost slipped when we tried to walk on the waterfall rocks.

Todd: Sure, no problem. That would be easy to cross through.

Nate: Hold still, My body is quite heavy to lift through telepathy.

Just then, Hank creates a telepathic bubble to give them an easy path by crossing through the river. Once all of them cross paths, they continue on their climbing journey.

Sandy: Well, it looks like this is another walking journey.

Sandy pulls out his bottle and drinks the water.

Nate: That's good. We need to keep going.

Nate pulls his leg up and down before he continues to walk on the ground.

Rick: Everybody stick closer, these paths are quite hard to withstand so we all need hand to hand to keep us from falling off the hill.

Al: Because of this rocky, shallow path?

Todd: Yeah, I think that's what he means.

Al: Okay.

As they trek through the narrow path of the hill, tree branches and rocks are making their journey fill with obstacles but they remain careful not to trip out while holding each other’s hands as they reach the hillslide.

Rick: Careful guys. We are almost there.

Hank: Ahh, that's great. I see the path leading up to the upper Hill.

Todd: Yeah, hopefully all these trekking journey have finally paid off.

After bringing Todd out of the narrow path, they continue to trek on the upper Hill as they finally reach the top. There it is, they see the bright, morning sun glow brighter all across the forest and river from the top hill.

Al: Wow, what a breathtaking view.

Sandy: Me too, I wish I could dream myself that I am sleeping under the glowing light.

Rick: See, I told you guys. It's the reason why we do trekking in the first place.

Todd: But you didn't say the real reason we picked this place to enjoy the scenery from above. You ask us to follow whatever direction we go.

Nate: At least, we finally reach the right place to stop and enjoy what we see.

Hank pants himself some breath before he lifts up to join along with them, watching the bright sun from the hill.

Hank: Boy, I agree. I never enjoyed myself even since I've been working as a superhero. This is the best time to relax and loose myself out, especially with you guys.

Al: Hank, if it wasn't Todd's idea to bring you along, we could just leave you alone and who knows what worse could happen to you.

Hank: Yeah, you’re right. But I am happy you guys still remember to bring me out along.

Rick: Forget about your past, Hank. Let's just enjoy the beautiful landscape we see from the hill above.

Sandy: Nice, someone needs to take a shot of this.

Al: Don't worry, I got your back.

Al brings out his phone from the backpack he carries as Hank ushers the other to stand in position while Al grows a bit larger to get a better group shot through the sun.

Al: Alright, 3.. 2…1. Smile.

A screenshot sound click as they check on the phone to see how the photo taken.

Todd: Oh man, I look like a mess.

Nate: I feel so shiny under the bright sun. It looks so magnificent.

Rick: That's great, guys. I hope you all enjoy this whole trip of trekking.

Al: Not for me. I prefer we can do another sport game instead.

Hank: Hey, brighten up Al. The least you could do is get along with us together.

Al: Sigh, fine.

Sandy: Okay, now that we have already reached on the hill. Let's just sit awhile and enjoy the beautiful sun that is shining all over the forest.

Nate: Good idea, I wanna rest before we go back to where we came from.

Todd: Nice one, Sandy. I love this place.

After this, the guys take a brief moment to watch the sunlight, never before they do something

unexpected as they pack up and return to the forest. Hoping this could cherish the best moments together especially with Hank.
