Summary
One day, Wednesday Addams loses consciousness in her own country house. Waking up in the hospital, Dr. Fairburn, her attending physician, informs her that concerned colleagues brought her in. An examination and a series of tests revealed Wednesday's exhausted state. Lack of nutrition and sleep led to the loss of consciousness, which in turn led to a head injury and subsequent concussion.
Wednesday ignores the hospital stay and the doctor's recommendations, wanting to return to work as soon as possible, but immediately faces an obstacle in the form of her academic supervisor, Larissa Weems. She insists on sick leave, or she will exclude Addams from the future project. Defeated, she returns home.
From that day on, Wednesday gradually began to notice strange things. While at home, details that were not there before come into her field of vision, as if someone else, bright and sensual, lived in the house. Someone Wednesday never knew.
While recuperating on sick leave, Wednesday becomes eager to unravel the mystery of her own home, to find out what is hidden behind this colorful facade.
