Summary
The feel of the Baby is something he knows. Something that still feels familiar. He rebuilt her himself, so it tracks. That brings back the thought of being rebuilt, but he can’t go down that road. Not, at least, until about a second later Anna says, agitated:
“We have to take it on faith, which we are killed if we don’t have.”
