"Good morning, Gege"
" Good morning, San Lang"
The sun was shining through the window as Xie Lian slowly opened his eyes. The sight that met him was his handsome husband Hua Cheng. He was wearing his usual black eyepatch on his right eye and a red underobe, His beautiful black eye was watching him adorably while he gently stroked the gods belly as a smile gently bloomed on his face. Xie Lian rested his hand on his lover's on. A faint blush coloured his cheecks as he kissed the ghost.
After Xie Lian took the 'Child Bearing Pill' Hua Cheng became twice as much protective of his god. Xie Lian was very fond of his San Lang but he didn't ease his worry being really energetic as the martial god he was. The other Gods weren't really thrilled of the news but were respectful about it (if they weren't Hua Cheng would have killed them on the spot) and Fang Xin and Mu Qing were... happy? Xie Lian didn't really know. They looked nerveous (probably for his sake) but as time went on he noticed that his two friends were starting to relax (which was a really good thing since that when he first told them Mu Qing started yelling and Feng Xin went into total shock mode). Shi Qingxuan was so happy that he jumped (even with his injured leg) and his eyes shined brightly when Xie Lian told him.
"What do you want to do today, Dianxia?" the younger man said "We could take a walk in the mortal realm, near Puqi village. What do you think?" the god replied. "I don't know Gege, you're six months pregnant, almost seven-he said looking at him seriously-are you sure you want to walk?"Hua Cheng looked doubtful as he kissed the god's neck. "Please San Lang, I really want to take a walk outside and visit Puqi Village! I haven't been there in ages" Xie Lian wore a little pout on his face and Hua Cheng didn't know how to say no to this.
"Only if Gege promises me that when he gets tired he'll ask this one to carry him" Hua Cheng said with a smirk. "Fineee" Xie Lian blushed at his husband.
As they got dressed Xie Lian looked into the mirror and thought only only thing
'Fat.'
His once graceful body had now became huge, his calves were three times bigger than normal and he felt really heavy every step he woobly took. His face was a little bloted and he couldn't stand looking like this. His dear San Lang always told him he was stunning but he coulden't bring himself to belive that.
'Ugly.'
Looking in the mirror was a brutal reality check everyday. He thought that if he ate the minimun all the food would have gone to the baby but his husband always made him eat more than he wanted. "You need to eat more Gege, you need a lot of energy and if you aren't eating enough you could get sick" Hua Cheng always told him when he left half the plate with food.
'Gross.'
He tried to exercise but his devoted husband didn't make him walk that much nor do any tipe of exercise. He was full of self loathing.
FAT FAT FAT FAT FAT FAT
That just... didn't feel or looked like his body at all anymore.
'San Lang might not find me pretty anymore'
'What if San Lang finds me gross'

"Gege? Is everything alraight? You look a little pale-the ghost hugged his lover from behind-What are you thinking about?" He was dressed in his usual red robes and silver jewelry looking extremely handsome.
SANLANGCANTKNOW.
"All good, dont worry love. Nothing really"
Xie Lian noticed that he was feeling a little lightheaded and more tired than usual. As the pregnancy went on he started to have crazy back pain, swollen legs and strong morning sickness; but today it was different. His sight was a little blurry on the sides and he felt as he could fall asleep any moment but just that. He really didn't want to worry his dear San Lang as he would probably call the doctor and make him eat.
"Shall we go?" the God asked the man dressed in red"
Hua Cheng nooded and threw his dices. "Let's go" the ghost said as he opened the door and Xie Lian followed him.

As they walked Xie Lian started feeling really dizzy and so he wrapped his arm around Hua Cheng's.
"Everyhing good Gege? Are you tired?" Hua Cheng asked. "Im fine, thank you San Lang" Xie Lian replied with a smile. "We should start walking towards the shrine so you can rest for a bit." The man in red said leaving a little kiss on the other's cheeck.
The world swayed as Xie Lian tried to ignore it and hold onto Hua Cheng.
"Gege"
He closed his eyes "Just resting my eyes"
"GEGE!"
The world went black.
