Anyone who had ever been Boogieman knew what it was like. An insatiable, desperate bloodlust taking over your entire being. It was different to being red, the desperation to not lose lives clouding all your judgement.
So it's safe to say etho wasn't thinking clearly as he was scaling the lighthouse.
It was perfect.
Grian and gem were right there, standing right there, almost begging for a tnt minecart to be dropped on them.
He could hear grian faintly chanting in the distance.
"Loyalty test! Loyalty test! Loyalty test!"
Etho had assembled traps like this hundreds of times by now. He knew exactly how these things worked. He set up the powered rail and carefully pushed the minecart down off the edge.
It was if time froze as it rocketed down to the floor. There was a moment of silence before...
Bang!
[Grian blew up]
The message was beautiful.
Etho felt the curse be lifted from his being, freeing him from the Crazed bloodlust. He stared down at the carnage from his succesful kill
"Loyalty test failed."
