Summary
Within the IPC's Strategic Investment Department, the one known as Diamond sits stoically above all as he and his Stonehearts cast an umbrella of protection over the IPC's growing shares of the cosmos. The rise of his elites jumpstarted a new direction for the other departments, and he has been credited with driving the IPC with a renewed fervor for interastral peace.
What lies just beyond the shining corporate facade is a department ravaged by the aftermath of a war with the Destruction and stretched to its absolute limit, dealing with threats both within the IPC and without. One of the universe's seemingly strongest factions is fighting to stay afloat, with stability a fragile balance unless a new variable can enter the fray.
