Sebastian is in the shifters room, laying down on the carpet just dosing quietly. There was a welcomed break between FP sessions and Sebastian just needed a moment to rest and breathe for a little while.
The 2014 season wasn't going so well for him and he was rather tired of feeling so rubbish all of the time. Especially as the media were quick to latch onto his lack of results like rabid dogs.
So here he was alone, taking a moment to himself.
The door to the shifter room opens and Sebastian feels himself sigh a little, there goes his peace and quiet. But then a familiar scent washes over him and he finds that maybe he doesn't mind the company after all.
Kimi was always welcome, no matter what.
He hears his mate settle on the floor besides him, his scent soothing him as he feels his hands run gently over his fur.
Oh god, this felt good.
He relaxes against the feeling of Kimi's large hands running over his fur. His touch makes him feel so safe and loved that he finds himself starting to purr.
The interesting thing about rabbits is that they purr by grinding their teeth. A soft little almost squeaky sound that shows his contentment at Kimi's touch.
He doesn't have to see Kimi's face to know that the Lynx has a bright smile on his face. Kimi always loves it when he makes Sebastian purr like this. It shows him that Sebastian feels happy and loved and that's all he wants for the younger man.
Sebastian continues to purr, practically floppy at Kimi's touch. He could happily fall asleep like this, knowing Kimi was with him.
He feels Kimi lean down and gently kiss the top of his head. "I will let you rest, I'll tell your team to let you have a little bit longer."
But Sebastian doesn't want Kimi to leave, instead he moves out from under Kimi's hands and shakes out his fur. Then he hops closer to Kimi and places his front paws in his lap and leans up expectantly.
Kimi huffs softly and leans down so that Sebastian can gently give his chin a little lick, before he hops into his lap and settles into a comfortable loaf against him.
Kimi runs his hand through his fur again and Sebastian settles happily.
"Okay I will ask for both of us to be given extra time then. I'm sure I can arrange it from here." Kimi gets out his phone and starts to type to his trainer, still continuing to give Sebastian's fur gentle pets.
Sebastian falls asleep on Kimi's lap, purring contently until he's fast asleep. Feeling safe and loved.
