    Arthur looked at Alfred under his lashes.“You self-absorbed prat.”
    He kicked Alfred’s leg under the table, but then Alfred hooked both of their legs together. Arthur couldn’t wipe the smile off his face.

     

    It was one of those darker days for Arthur, when he needed Alfred’s bright smile and warm hugs. Sadly, there was an ocean between them and no phone call could relieve his longing. He went out of his way to see him and feel his touch, and not even distance could come in between them.
