Gintoki pushed away from his chest, escaping Hijikata’s hold as easily as he did financial responsibility.
Hijikata stood there, arms bereft, and stared at Gintoki, who posed like a blushing virgin straight out of some shoujo manga. Fluttering lashes and all.
“A-anyway, like I was saying earlier. I, erm, I haven’t been feeling too well that, um, that lately.”
Gintoki slid the sleeve of his kimono off, like some coquettish model offering a temptation, though the effect was somewhat diminished by the shirt he still wore underneath, and the other sleeve already cast off.
“I’m ready to see the doctor now."
