Summary
11 years after the war, Hermione is assigned an investigation on a magical virus that spreads death through the pure-blood community. It’s called the Red String of Fate virus, as it creates a bloody string on an affected person’s hand and kills them if they marry anyone but their beloved.
While Hermione runs her investigation, she becomes invested in solving the riddle of the RSF virus. In less than three months, Draco Malfoy is supposed to marry Astoria Greengrass in a contracted marriage scheduled by their families when they were children. They both wear the signs of the virus on their hands, but their strings are not tied to each other.
Will Hermione find a way to keep her new Slytherin friends (or, in some cases, frenemies… or just neutral acquaintances with no unresolved feelings whatsoever) while also struggling with her own love journey?
Who knows? Not even the author, who has only just started the story…
