Summary
The first band wrapped their show up, the kid singing had this weird nasal voice and an accent that they definitely got from their uncle. As pussy as Frank felt for going back to his beer, he’d faint with all the shit he was doing tonight- it was better to play it safe than collapse like a 13 year old kid at their first show. He made his way through the sweaty cluster of bodies to the back, relieved to find his beer was still standing up on the chair. The back wall had a few people scattered along it, sitting down on crusty old chairs or opting to lean against the unfinished wall.
One of those people caught his eye- she was leaning nonchalantly against the wall, wearing a satin-ish slip dress and beat up leather jacket. Even in the low lights, Frank could tell she was gorgeous. Her slightly above shoulder length black hair curled up around the ends, framing her cherubic face perfectly. His mind started racing on whether or not he should go up to her. Considering his social situation and current sex life, there wasn’t much to lose, but he could only imagine how much there was to gain.
