Summary:

What if Wenlang permantly marked Gao Tu?
(dw, wenlang is gonna be at least a bit clever compared to him in the show)

ok so, this chapter is rlly short since i just want to see if anyone is actually interested in this kind of plot.
in this universe, im not gonna include how gao tu gets pregnant after their night together but it's about how wenlang marks gao tu

Chapter 1: Beginning

Chapter Text

The night was a blur. One second, Gao Tu was hiding in the corner of the room, hoping to not be seen, and then the next second, he woke up with a soreness that spread throughout his body. All he could remember was the feeling of his clothes being torn off and the sudden hard bites and kisses all over his skin. However leaving the room, one thing felt certain. The back of his neck throbbed, burned as if his inner omega was begging for him to stay wrapped up in the blanket of the iris pheromones.

He was marked.

His boss, crush for 10 years, his first love took him right then and there in that staff room, while being under the influence of his rut and marked him.

What could Gao Tu do anyway, he can't change the fact that he was now permanently bonded with the alpha. He need to run, hide, get away from Wenlang before he found out. As he left the room, he took one last glance at the alpha, his alpha sleeping in the room.

Chapter Text

It was probably late in the afternoon when Wenlang got up. Glancing around the room, all he could see was the messed up bed and his clothes scattered on the floor, which judging by the looks, were basically ripped up. The strong scent of sex however was easily noticeable. Slowly the realisation clicked into place, he slept with an omega.

One thing kept replaying in his mind however. His mind was foggy but he clearly remembered marking that omega. He could still hear how it cried out in pleasure as he sank his teeth into its gland. 

Filthy, manipulative creatures.

How on earth could he have let such a thing manipulate him. He always thought that he was clever and that compared to mindless alphas who were easily tempted by omegas' sickly sweet scents, he was immune to such disgusting things. Well clearly not. A growing urge hit him to have that omega under him again and to be able to inhale that delicious sage scent. As much as he would love to deny, that sage scent was the best thing he’s ever smelled. The only time he ever catched a faint smell of it would be on Gao Tu but that was because of his omega…

‘Where the fuck is Gao Tu?’

He clearly remembered how sick Gao Tu was when he asked to go to the bathroom. Wenlang went to look for him since he was taking a while and ended up here with that disgusting omega.

Is Gao Tu safe? Where is he? 

His inner wolf howled at the idea of leaving the room covered in his omega’s scent but Gao Tu was more important. Already rushing, he picked up his phone to call Gao Tu to check where he was. He’ll deal with that omega later but the sudden urge to find Gao Tu and see him safe filled him completely.

On the other hand, Gao Tu could barely walk. He himself was surprised at the fact that he managed to get back to his apartment. His back ached as his mind kept telling him to go back and nest with his alpha.

His alpha, Wenlang.

Shit. It shouldn’t have been like this. He wasn’t supposed to get marked, hell, he wasn’t supposed to go into heat at the banquet. The realisation slowly settled in Gao Tu’s head. He was marked and fuck, Wenlang marked him. Without realising, he released distressed pheromones and he panicked at the thought that his secret was over.

But he escaped, Wenlang didn't know it was him. But how long would that last, he’ll find out one way or another.

Suddenly, his phone started ringing. Feeling too tired, Gao Tu ignored it, hoping the caller would stop but it just kept ringing and ringing. Reaching his arm out, he picked up his phone and looked at the caller id, Wolf of Wolves. The incoming calls stopped, only for Wenlang to send a bunch of messages to Gao Tu.

‘Pick up the phone’

‘Where are you?’

‘Gao Tu respond’

‘I’m going to your place.’

Oh. Oh shit. Gao Tu immediately called Wenlang and the call connected within a second.

Wenlang sounded frantic as he immediately asked, ‘Gao Tu, where are you?’

‘I’m home, Mr Shen, I’m really busy, don't come.’

‘Why not? I’ll be there in a minute, I’m just around the corner.’

‘No no Mr Shen wait-’

The phone call ended.

Ignoring the pain in his back, Gao Tu tried to get up. Although his movements were sluggish, he reached for his inhibitor pills and the random bottle he had next to his bed and swallowed them immediately. He also grabbed a patch and placed it on the back of his neck, hoping that his sage scent wouldn't come out. Getting out of his bed, he reached for some spray, hoping to mask the strong scent of sage.

The banging on the door was immediate. Harsh. Desperate.

Startled, Gao Tu slowly walked towards the door - his back ached and his legs felt sore but ignoring the consistent banging was definitely not a good idea.

He knows. He definitely knows or else why was Wenlang standing on the other side of the door.

However, for Wenlang, he didn’t know why he ran here. It was as if his inner wolf begged for Gao Tu without even realising. He needed to see Gao Tu. It wasn’t even up for debate, the thought consumed Wenlang whole to the point where he could not resist. He needed Gao Tu, to see that he was safe, to see that he was always Wenlang’s. 

The door slowly creaked open and immediately, Wenlang burst in and completely engulfed Gao Tu. He wrapped his arms around him without a second thought. He needed to feel him.

The omega, startled by the sudden force of the hug, nearly fell on the floor if it wasn’t for Wenlang caging him.

Unconsciously, his calming pheromones were slowly released even though he had taken suppressant pills. It was as if his body rebelled, only wanting to calm his alpha who looked as if he had run a marathon just to see him.

Breathing in, Wenlang slowly gained consciousness of his own body. He could smell the scent of sage. It was…calming. Beautiful. Whenever he smelt the delicious scent, it was on Gao Tu because of his omega. Omega… Was this disgusting thing here?

Just as Wenlang was about to pull back from his unexpected hug, his finger brushed against something on Gao Tu’s neck.

Gao Tu froze. He felt Wenlang’s finger touch his suppressant patch. Cautiously, he looked up, just to lock eyes with Wenlang.

Shit. If he didn’t know before,he definitely knew now and judging from the look in Wenlang’s eye, there was no way he could hide anymore.

Notes:

ok... so my plan is maybe the next chapter would be where they talk and like, come to terms with what happened. i kinda feel like i might do them confessing about their feelings not in the next chapter but in a later chapter. i rlly want to do some scenes where they're at the office and like yk, subtly flirting but also some jealousyy before the confession. if any of u have any ideas, plss let me know, ill try to add them in the story and plss leave some comments and kudos for motivation.

also, im rlly sorry about this but on monday, ive got exams and these exams last for 2 weeks so i might not be able to update during this time.
