   He smiled faintly, though his voice wavered. “Mike and I have been doing game nights, movie marathons, sleepovers… I know it’s silly, but it helps. Makes us feel better... Make me feel normal”

   “I don’t know…” he said teasingly. “Wouldn’t want to get in the way of one of your dates with Mike.”

   Will’s eyes went wide, and a soft, almost nervous laugh escaped him.
   “I wish…” Will murmur under his breath.

   Then he froze. His smile faltered; his jaw clenched. Lucas stared at him, startled. That wasn’t the response he’d expected.
