Nick walked into the music shop nervously. It had always been on his bucket list, and being single for yet another birthday, he decided he should just treat himself. His plan may be back firing though because the sheer amount of bi-panic he was experiencing as he faced the gorgeous man behind the counter had him melting into a puddle, but certainly not speaking coherently.
“I’m here for the “learn-the-music” adult lessons?” he said with a squeak.
The man gave him a huge smile. “What instrument?”
“Oh, uh, guitar? I think? I have no musical bones in my body.”
The man did a slow, obvious sweep up and down Nick’s body and gave him a cheeky grin.
“Shame, I teach drums. I can connect you with Sahar, our guitar instructor though.”
Nick swallowed. “You play the drums? That's so cool. Oh, I’m Nick by the way.”
“Hi Nick, I’m Charlie.” The man pushed a sign up sheet towards him. “Just put your name and phone number or email here, and Sahar will reach out to you. Shame I won't get to see those arms in action drumming though.” He flashed a wink when he said this, and Nick felt a shock of electricity and a flash of heat travel down his core.
And fuck it, it was his birthday, right? Nick got brave.
“Text me if you are interested and maybe we can arrange some private lessons, and see what these arms can do?”
Charlie’s eyes widened and a grin spread across his face. “I’m free tonight, if you are.”
