i really appreciate that jax wasn’t immediately a good person. ofc, i think transitioning could help her (depending on the situation), but it wouldn’t be easy, and i really feel that here!!! and i LOVE her denial even after she transitioned. watching tadc i often feel as though everyone knows something is up with jax even when jax lies, and i really feel that here. it’s obvious to everyone else that jax is a girl and being one is helping her, but jax herself is in denial about it and thinks if she convinces herself, she can convince everyone else. uh…jax, sorry to tell you this, but it’s REALLY obvious. anyways, jax felt a lot more complex here and i thought her thought process was captured very well. i’ll probably look to this fic when i need help with my own. yay! -
