Tei stood outside the doorway, staring right at regressed Ikeda drawing with the markers that Denden let him borrow.
"Uhm... Tei, are you jus' gonna stand there? Watching me... It's kinda creepy.." Ikeda slurred his words while speaking.
"Oh, uh no—I just...need to ask you something, if that's alright?"
Ikeda answered with a simple "Mhm.." and a slight nod.
"so I have been talking with Hirose about, you know—the regression thing, and turns out, it's common for, uh, caregivers to have 'roles', like, for example, I could be your daddy?"
He pauses
"that sounds... Cringe saying it out loud, but, uh—do you want to do that with me?"
Ikeda lets out no response
His voice is laced with frustration but still trying to stay calm for Ikeda, letting out a sigh, "Ikeda, work with me here."
Without even looking at Tei, he uttered "Well, I... Dunno, it's... Whatever..."
Tei held Ikeda's hand firmly, "Well, do you want to have that type of relationship? I'm not trying to force you, I just want you to be more comfortable, that's all."
"Do...I remind you of anything? Like a maternal figure?"
"Uh.... You jus' remind me of a mama." Ikeda mumbled, while looking somewhat embarrassed.
"I...a mother? But I'm a—" Tei stops himself before he says he something he might regret, it's about Ikeda, not him after all.
"Well, can you explain it? Just so I can understand a bit better?"
Ikeda's mouth opens and closes, but he couldn't get any words out, there was deafing silence for a few minutes before Ikeda finally opened his mouth again.
"Promise, you... Won't judge me?"
Tei quickly replied "Ikeda, of course I wouldn't judge you, I just need to understand." His voice laced with complete understanding.
"A mama is supposed to do anything for her child.. And—and you do alot for me."
"I... Uh huh." Tei honestly didn't know how to reply, he's just somewhat relieved that it wasn't anything dark or bad, and it was actually pretty sweet.
"You said you wouldn't judge..." Ikeda said with a slight pout.
"I'm.. I'm not judging you, I'm just relieved, kiddo, but sure, you can call me mama if you want to."
"...Want some uppies from mama?" Tei looks slightly flustered from calling himself that, opening his arms towards him.
Ikeda hesitates before slowly crawling to him.
"C'mon, come to mama." as he lifts up Ikeda, pressing close against Ikeda's body.
"That's my boy... Mama's sweet boy!" Tei lets out a soft coo, holding him tight.
"Uhm... Mama, could you maybe... Use petnames for me? Jus' a idea, I dunno..." Ikeda asks, looking up at Tei.
"God—Ikeda, you're really... something for sure." Tei slightly breaks character, it's obviously difficult for Tei to act "motherly" but he's trying his best.
"But.. Uhm, mhm, of course, you're my baby after all." Tei snaps back in character, Tei could feel his cheeks burn red from the embarrassment.
It would be complete humiliation if anyone were to walk in, but Tei was willing to risk that, for Ikeda, and he was content with Ikeda, going over all the petnames he could give him, he'll definitely need to vent to Yokoi tomorrow over this, but he was going to enjoy the moment.
