A Spy Made Through By Blood

Summary:

Twilight was the ultimate spy in the world. Anyone within that circle knew that. Prized, feared, and hated for his own abilities.

But one scientist decided that he'd be the perfect host for Test Subject 007, after finding some paperwork, that Twilight had long thought it was gone. It had everything but his name. The very thing he sacrificed for what he is doing.

Twilight doesn't fully remember what happened when that mission went wrong. Only he was out of commission for at least 10 months and then some.

But after meeting Anya and Yor. . . . He begins to have dreams of what he has forgotten.

Basically Anya is Loid's own biological child and he is unaware of it.

Notes:

Basically saw a Loid and Anya edit- I need to find it again- but I have a comment from that screenshotted because the idea that Loid had Anya stuck with me.

If I fail at immersing you into the world of Spy x Family I absolutely apologize. This might be a mess. Please help.

Fun fact spy x family takes place roughly around the 1960s and 1970s. Peter Pan Peanut Butter was made in 1920. Which if you don't know is basically a legend in terms of peanut butter.

Chapter 1: Fuzzy Memories

Chapter Text

Loid's Dream

"-old him down! The process must-"

"-T's her! It's says on the paper!-"

He doesn't know where he is. He's on a table, strapped down and struggling. Then it cuts to liquid and bubbles. He can't hear a thing. But all he knows is that he feels something moving within his body.

No. . . That. . . .can't- be right-

He lets out a scream that gets muffled by the liquids- he's drowning-

Loid: Status: Awake

Loid wakes up with a start. He breathes heavily as he feels too warm from . . . whatever nightmare that was. "Mghmf. . . " He blinked as he heard the weird noise, before signing at the sight of his. . . .wife, Yor.

It had been a while since he became Loid Forger. He always likes the mission where he's a male. After all, it was the gender he was most comfortable as. When he learned how to disguise himself, the first thing he did was disguise himself as a proper man, and he was so happy about it.

See the reason was, he was born a girl. But he wanted to be seen as a boy because he wanted to fight, wanted to help protect in the war. In the end. . . . He is still doing that. At least in his own way of course.

He just has to focus on making sure Anya gets her stars, and makes sure she becomes a good. . . . He lies back down, blinking at the still dark ceiling. He knows what will happen after the mission is done.

Loid Forger would ceaist to exist. Wiped from every paper but memory. But recently. . . . he's been having thoughts on realizing what that would mean. It would mean Anya would be taken in by WISE, possibly to be trained as a spy. Yor would probably also be told, and given an NDA, and . . . .shot if she doesn't comply.

He knows that will happen, having seen it before, but he's never stayed this long before. Sure he's been on longer missions, but most of those were stakeouts of people who knew people, and. . . . He's never had a family like this before.

Psychology was always interesting and he knows it more than any other person, having to shift his mentality to act as different people over the course of years he's been Twilight. To the point he has forgotten his original name, and . . . . somehow Loid felt the most comfortable name for him.

He knows he lies to Yor, knowing his paperwork says he's a man, and he knows he cannot provide another child to Yor. But he adores Anya, even when he adopted her. The little one has grown on him. He wonders what weapons she might use in the future. Maybe a M1911. Fast and Quick, like Anya was with her talking, making an easy distraction while she reloads the gun.

But he hopes that never comes to be. Hopes that once the guy he's trying to kill is dead. . . . That WISE will soon ceist to exist. No longer needed. It's a foolish ideal, but one he can hope to achieve should he go through with it.

He does wonder though. Had he never been found by WISE and the Handler. Would he still meet Yor? Would he have ever met Anya? But still, as he turns on his side, he holds back a sign as he checks the clock.

Of course it had to be at least three hours before he had to wake up. What even were part of those dreams? He knew what dreams were in theory, as they tied together with psychology.

Dreams were the mind's own way off processing, storing, and organizing memories, thoughts, and other events that possibly have occured during the day. Basically a cool down period for your brain, but even then your brain is working overtime, making the dreams up as a way to basically distract part of the brain. You can't make up new voices or faces that you haven't already heard or seen.

As he stares into the wall, all he can do, as he watched the clock tick by, is wonder what on earth was he remembering, and possibly what to make for breakfast.

He'll figure it out as he stays still as to not wake Yor.

Loid: Later

What he ended up doing was getting out of bed slowly, closing the door softly, making sure Yor would not wake up. He swears she has some inhuman sense of hearing half the time, but he ended up learning how to avoid waking her. Mostly because somehow, while asleep, she was dead as a corpse without being one.

Still, he checked on Anya and Bond. Bond was wrapped with the small arms of Anya and he could tell Anya's night hat came off during her sleep. He almost lets out a chuckle at that. He didn't want to disturb her. After all, this was technically a part of the mission. After all, the closer he is to Yor and Anya, the better they act as a fake family.

But at what point, Twilight, will the fake become the real?

But still, after closing the door, and grabbing the apron, he begins to make breakfast for the day, and for them all. He mentally tallies on what he has to do today. One, he had a few appointments at his job like any normal psychologist, and then has to take part in a few mental experiments (with written contracts of course). All of which will be roughly done by noon.

At around after noon, he needs to go speak with Franky to see if there's any new info, as well as if he has a new mission. He then has to do any of said missions, and then go grocery shopping, as they're out of peanuts, and as he checks his supplies as he does a mental list of what they're missing.

Some nutmeg for his and Yor's coffee, as well as some sugar as he can't handle that normally (hey he's outta disguise, he can use whatever flavor of coffee he wants to). Peanuts for Anya, as well as that new thing he saw in the newspaper. . . what was it? Ah. Peter Pan Peanut Butter. Apparently an American thing, now coming over to the nations over here.

He needs to see if Anya would like that type of stuff if she likes peanuts. After all, it can't help to try new things, and sandwiches are always good for later. Even if they don't last long out in the field, they're a good quick snack.

Currently, today for breakfast, he was making eggs and toast. He buttered the toast, and put jam on top of it, using salty butter to add flavor. He also made plates for Yor and Anya. Yor had no jam on her toast, and her eggs had salt on them. Anya also had no jam, but her eggs had both salt and ketchup on top.

He was plesently surprised to know that it tasted that good until he tried it himself. Now he had eggs with ketchup.

He even had time to make Anya's bento for the day, and some bento's for him and Yor. He thinks of things that might give her more ideas to trust him. She's working all day at that shop right? Tailoring is hard on the body. So maybe a spa day would do her so well? A massage on her hands? It would get them in good grace-

He blinked at the sudden feeling of cold by his feet, and with a weight behind it. He looks over to see Bond, looking up at him. Oh. Did Bond boop him with his nose? When did he- Loid looks back at the clock and signs. Of course two hours went by without him noticing. He swears that's what occurs when you're older is time moves faster when you don't notice.

Eventually he heard the familiar sounds of his family waking up. Anya yawning as she goes to the bathroom sleepily, still in her pjs. He hears Yor groan as she comes in, looking slightly put together but one of her shoes were off.

He won't admit she looked cute, especially as Anya comes into the hallway and they both yawned at the same time. His heart felt. . . .so weird. Focus on the mission, GODDAMMIT TWILIGHT KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE.

Either way he made sure they ate, made sure Anya's buttons were buttoned up, and then he realized late that he didn't get dressed himself, and it was a bit of a dash to get Anya to school, Yor to her work, and him to his own work.

When he finally went in, he signed in relief at being there on time.

Still, he'll question his own mind on another time. For now, he has to go to work.
