    Aegon walked down the main hall surrounded by his siblings. Every step was a mix of groans and curses. His belly was huge, tight, heavy like he was carrying the damn throne inside it.

     

    “You miserable bastard, Aemond!” he yelled, clutching his stomach like he wanted to rip it out. “You’re never putting another kid in my womb again! Never!”

     

    Aemond, calm as ever, followed beside him with impossible patience. His silver hair fell over his face, that single eye half-lidded with exhaustion.

     

    “You’ve said that a hundred times already, Aegon,” he replied, voice almost too calm. “Maybe a thousand.”

     

    “And I’ll say it a thousand more if I have to!” Aegon roared, tripping on the carpet, only to be caught by Aemond before he fell.
