Summary
What if Gao Tu had actually submitted his resignation letter the first time he intended to? Back when HS was not in a sound condition due to their losses from Sheng Fang Biotech. After the meeting with the staff, Gao Tu signed his resignation letter but tore it up after hearing the Secretary General’s words about him being the savior of his coworkers—because without him, who understood Shen Wenlang better than Shen Wenlang himself, his coworkers would have a really hard time meeting their CEO’s needs and demands.
What if he had really resigned then, and the whole tragedy—the night at the X Hotel—never happened? How would the story have turned out? Would Shen Wenlang have realized his feelings for Gao Tu sooner?
