Chapter Text
"WHAT IN HELL IS THIS?!!!!" Vil's voice echoed through out his childhood home.
Eric Venue, his father is startled by the commotion as he watered the plants outside his tiny garden.
"Vil, dearest, what happened???" Eric asked his son as he poked his head in to Vil's room.
Those purple amethyst eyes remained laser focus on his phone, gripping it as if it spoke ill of him. Eric slowly approached his son as Vil trembled from either anger or something.
"Vil...?" Eric called out once more as his eyes landed on the article on Vil's phone.
An article about Neige Leblanche.... And a revamp on his industry image? He was puzzled, he and his son knew Neige as a very kind and friendly child. But... A revamp on the image that he established for years? The family-oriented and friendly Neige Leblanche is staring in a mature action movie?
"My, this is quite the shock. Is this real?" Eric questions as Vil still had his mouth open from shock.
"... Who put him up to this?!" Vil exclaimed as Eric stood back immediately to cover his ear from his son's loud voice.
"Maybe Neige is deviating away from his usual? It's not unusual for actors to search new genres after a few years on the job." Eric said rationally as he looked at his son with a cautious expression as not to poke Vil's temper further.
"... No. Definitely not with Neige, his specialty is hero roles, papa! Not villain roles!" Vil said as he brought the phone's screen to Eric's face.
The older man raised a brow as he tried to process what he was reading.
NEIGE LEBLANCHE CASTED FOR VILLAIN ROLE! A SHOCKING PURE 180 FROM WHAT WE KNOW HIM AS!
"Oh... That is definitely unusual. A concerning type of unusual...." Eric said as he took the phone from Vil's shaking hand. Vil was absolutely livid that his cheeks were turning red.
"I need to ask a VERY important question with director McClair! Neige is too kind to reject such peer pressuring from people! There is no way he's outright agreeing to be casted as a villain." Vil further raged as he quickly puts on his makeup.
Eric sighs as he looks at his son.
"Vil... Aren't you a bit overreacting to this? Mr. McClair is highly responsible director for decades now. I'm sure they had some sort of new criteria for the villain role in the movie that warranted Neige to be casted as the villain. Though it is strange that they would cast such an innocent boy like Neige..." Eric said as he placed down Vil's phone on the dresser.
Vil, on the other hand, still looked viciously sharp as he puts on his makeup.
"Precisely the problem, papa. I won't stand for it, not until I get a word with Neige and McClair." Vil insisted as he puts on a sharper eyeliner than his normal.
He was on war mode as he felt anger for such a concerning role choice. He knew Neige from a young age and in his gut, he knew something was wrong with this casting.
"Alright then. I'll be going out in the evening today. Make sure to get some rest and something to eat when you come home." Eric reminded his son as he left the room. Vil breath in and out as he slowly puts down his eyeliner.
"Neige, I swear to god.... You better not have gotten yourself in trouble." Vil muttered under his breath as he gets up to get dressed.
He remembered how intertwined his and Neige's career. Whenever Neige had a minor accident on set or even outside of acting, people would always look for him. And when he wasn't around, these paparazzis would go out of their way to interview him on the street and in school! It's alway about him and Neige ever since they starred in that movie when they were young. People say they saw chemistry between the two, a statement Vil never understood.
Either way, this huge turn shift in Neige's role cast was going to affect him too. Only a matter of time before the paparazzis come knocking at his door. Best to be prepared when they asked ridiculous, overly insensitive and out right rude questions. His first stop? Neige's apartment in Lohr am Bergfreiheit. Then he'll talk to that damn director Cain McClair.

Ding ding~ Ding~
Neige's doorbell rung as he was in the shower.
"Hold it please!" Neige shouted as he hastily covers himself with a towel. Nearly tripping in the tiled floor as he scrambled to answer the door.
"Hello- Oh!.... Vii-kun? Why are you here?" He asked as Vil stood there with mask and sunglasses on.
Vil's eyes narrowed at the sight before him. Neige barely covering his body, straight out of the shower.
'Are those.... Red marks on his wrist?'
Vil's inner voice questioned as he stepped closer to the doorway. Towering over Neige.
"We need to talk." Vil coldly said as his violet eyes behind sunglasses scanned the hallway behind Neige. Neige's eye widened as he blocked Vil from entering and for a moment Neige forgot to speak.
"J- just a second... I need to fix something!" Neige nervous chattered as he slammed the door on Vil.
This made Vil's eye twitch, something is definitely wrong here.
