Work Text:
I watch, and I know that I should wind my neck in, look around and take in the sights around me. Worse, I should be going faster. I can, I trained for it. I shouldn’t be ogling, but how can I take in anything but the round globes of the firm arse in front of me.
It's my first 10K since school. I run, but got out of the habit of doing it for sport, for competition. Now I'm fixated.
This sport is distracting. I can do this.
“Hi,”
“Hi”
“Fancy some company?”
“Sure. I'm Nick.”
“I'm Charlie. You're beautiful.”
