Kazuki frowns as his blonde hair gets into his eyes, and Izuku plops a worn bucket hat on his head. “This hat smells, Dad,” Kazuki says, making a face.
“It will keep your hair out of your eyes, Kazuki,” Izuku tells his pup as he pats his shoulder.
“Yeah, Kaz, listen to our sire,” Toshi speaks up as he sits in a chair near the two. His green hair was curlier than Izuku’s as he narrowed his eyes at the phone he was holding.
Kazuki throws a glare at his brother before looking back at Izuku, who smiles at Toshi fondly. He ignores the twist in his chest as he huffs out. He had always thought their sire liked Toshi more since he had no quirk like him. He then growls as his dam puts his hand on his head.
“Hey, don't fucking growl at me,” Katsuki scolds Kazuki, who pouts in response. “I don't know why you’re suddenly upset, but stay close to Toshi, okay? He’s been to this island before with us, and you haven't. Listen to him,” Katsuki tells Kazuki.
Kazuki wrinkles his nose when Katsuki pokes his nose. “And if I don't?” Kazuki asks as he clenches his jaw and narrows his eyes at Katsuki.
Katsuki arches a brow, and he gives his son a wide, scary smile. “Then we have a sparring match where I don't hold back,” Katsuki tells him as his hand sparks.
Kazuki whines, and he pulls away from Katsuki to go over to Toshi. “Kacchan, you can't do that to Kazuki,” Izuku says as he comes over to him.
“Why not? He was being a little shit head,” Katsuki grumbles, but leans into Izuku when the alpha hugs him.
“And you said we’d be different,” Izuku reminds him, which causes Katsuki to groan.
“I don't plan to coddle him!” Katsuki says and buries his face in Izuku’s chest. Izuku’s chest muffles the rest of his statement.
“What was that?” Izuku asks Katsuki as he looks at him better.
“He was upset about something. I was trying to make him laugh,” Katsuki grumbles.
“By threatening his livelihood?” Izuku asks Katsuki.
Katsuki narrows his eyes at Izuku, then clicks his tongue before looking away. He then pulls away from him. “You talk to him then,” he snaps as he goes to the kitchen of the place they’re staying in.
“Dad, can we get your login info?” Toshi asks Izuku, who jumps at having his son suddenly standing beside him.
“Don’t scare me like that, Tosh,” Izuku says and sighs.
Toshi frowns, then rolls eyes eyes. “Sorry, Dad,” he says as he watches Izuku put his login info in.
“I want you to keep an eye on your brother, Toshi,” Izuku says, and Toshi grunts. “He doesn't know the island like you do, and if he wanders off, then he could get hurt,” Izuku says.
“He has a quirk,” Toshi says absently, and Izuku looks at his oldest son with a soft frown.
“Toshi, he can st-”
“Thanks, Dad,” Toshi grabs the phone from Izuku’s hand and then goes over to Kazuki. He grabs his upper arm and starts to drag him out of the place they're staying in.
“Hey! That hurts, Toshi! Ass!” Kazuki snaps, then he stumbles but corrects himself to follow Toshi out the door.
Katsuki comes over to stand by Izuku as he watches their pups leave the place. He can see them bickering outside, then he looks at Izuku. “Did Toshi just talk back to you?” He asks as he eats an apple.
“He cut me off and said Kazuki has a quirk,” Izuku tells Katsuki in a soft, concerned voice.
Katsuki arches a brow, and he goes closer to the window to watch their pups interact. Then he watches them walk away with a soft frown and looks at Izuku. “It should be fine,” he says as he clenches his jaw even though his instincts are screaming at him to follow. “Toshi will protect him. He wouldn't let him get hurt,” Katsuki says and trails off. He glances back out the window as he whines lowly in his throat. “Right?” Katsuki asks Izuku in a small voice.
Izuku gives Katsuki a gentle, warm smile before going closer to him. “Toshi loves him. I don't think he’d let him get hurt,” he says to Katsuki as he wraps his arms around him. “Everything will be fine, Kacchan. Maybe I just heard him wrong,” Izuku says, and kisses Katsuki’s temple. He pumps out comforting pheromones for Katsuki as he covers up his own scent. He feels Katsuki nuzzle into him with a soft whimper, and he looks out the window. Looking in the direction their pups went, he wants to follow, but they both know that will make Toshi upset with both of them.
“They’ll be okay,” Katsuki murmurs, and he shifts to cuddle into Izuku as his breath hitches.
“Yeah,” Izuku says softly as he rubs Katsuki’s lower back.

“You caught the last one, Toshi! Let me catch a Pokémon!” Kazuki whines as he tries to grab the phone from his older brother.
“This is a shiny! I’m not letting you catch it! It’ll run away from you and you’ll miss it!” Toshi tells Kazuki as he puts his hand on Kazuki’s forehead.
Kazuki tries to get the phone away from Toshi as he sees the older boy throw a pokeball. “No! This isn't fair!” Kazuki squeaks out as he puts his hand out, then the phone flies out of Toshi’s hand into his.
“Hey!” Toshi snaps, and he quickly tries to nab the phone from Kazuki, but he sees the phone slip out of his hold. It bounces then lands in some bushes nearby. Toshi frowns, then shoots a glare at Kazuki. “See what you did?! Now we lost the phone, brat,” he grumbles and pushes Kazuki away by his face.
Kazuki whines as he is pushed to the ground, landing on his butt with a whimper. “I didn't mean to! It’s hard to grip things when I use my quirk!”
“Then don't use it!” Toshi snaps at him as he glares at Kazuki. He grumbles under his breath and goes into the bushes as he looks for the phone.
“Toshi!” Kazuki shouts, and he stands up before brushing himself off. “I can help!” He says, and Toshi pushes him to the ground by his chest. Making his younger brother land on his ass on the ground again.
“No! You’ve helped enough. Just sit your butt down,” Toshi grumbles as he keeps searching for the phone.
Kazuki whimpers, watching his older brother. He huffs before standing up again. He brushes himself off once more, then runs off as tears sting his eyes.
It takes Toshi a while to notice, but he stands up straight with the phone in his hand. It says caught on the screen, but he doesn't care about that right now. “Kazuki?” He says and looks around. And suddenly he starts to panic. “Kazuki!” He raises his voice as he locks the phone, then puts it in the back pocket of his pants. “KAZUKI!” He yells and starts to run down the hill they had been walking on.
Toshi checks the places they had been, and he pants as he looks around frantically. “Kaz!” Toshi yells, and he breathes heavily as he feels dizzy all of a sudden. “Oh no, I lost him,” he grabs at his hair as his breath hitches. “Our parents are going to kill me. Oh no,” Toshi whines and keeps looking around, but there is still no sign of Kazuki.
"Mom and dad are going to kill me if I show up back home with no Kaz...." Toshi mutters to himself as he continues to look around frantically for his younger brother. Checking into stores of nice local people who have said they haven’t seen the young boy, and Toshi’s stomach twisted into numerous knots. A whine leaves him as he moves his hands to grab at his hair. He mutters under his breath, then stares wide-eyed at the ground as he thinks about his parents’ reaction to his going back. He’d walk in with his head hung in shame because he couldn’t find Kazuki anywhere on the island. Toshi then whimpers before taking a deep breath and standing up taller. He’d face the wrath of his parents! Then they could find Kazuki together!
Toshi starts walking back to the small, quaint place where they’re staying. He goes to pull the phone out of his back pocket and glances down a street, but he does a double-take as he sees Kazuki standing in front of a big chain convenience store, and he grips the phone.
“Kazuki?!” Toshi yells and then starts to run forward. “Kazuki!” Toshi yells again. Toshi stumbles as he runs and drops the phone. He glances at it, then shakes his head before crashing into Kazuki to give him a bear hug. “I was so worried!” Toshi says as a whine leaves him. He picks his brother up and buries his face into the musty bucket hat.
Kazuki blinks when he is suddenly scooped up, and he squirms in his hold. “I-I'm fine! Put me down!” Kazuki hisses as he tries to remove one of his hands to push Toshi away, but his brother has him in an iron-clad embrace.
Toshi squeezes Kazuki as he hears the other, and he ignores the squeaky whine that leaves his younger brother. “Don't run off like that again, Kaz. I'm sorry for pushing you down and not letting you help,” he mutters.
Kazuki stops struggling, and he pouts. "I'm sorry for trying to get you in trouble," he grumbles.
Toshi blinks, and he pulls away enough to look at Kazuki. "You were trying to get me into trouble? You ran away on PURPOSE?" Toshi can't help but raise his voice near the end.
Kazuki nods. "Get you in trouble with our sire so he doesn't like you more than me anymore," he says.
Toshi opens his mouth as he feels his chest hurt at what Kazuki says. "You think...?" He trails off as he looks at Kazuki. He can see the sad look in his eyes as he looks away from Toshi, and he swallows. "Our sire doesn't like me more, Kaz," Toshi assures him in a gentle voice.
Kazuki frowns and glares at Toshi. “He does! He looks at you all softly, which he never does to me!” He snaps at Toshi, but his voice cracks. “It's not fair! Only our dam has been paying attention to me more since I got my quirk, and our sire barely spares me a glance,” Kazuki squeaks as he yells.
Tears come to Kazuki’s eyes as Toshi watches him, and he wants to say more, but instead, the stupid, ugly feeling from earlier comes outside. “Our dam pays more attention to you because you have a quirk,” Toshi says and sets Kazuki down on the ground.
Kazuki angrily wipes his tears away as Toshi speaks, and he keeps glaring at Toshi with a pouty frown. "So! I want our sire's attention too!" He stomps his foot as he doesn't care how he looks.
Toshi frowns at his brother's bratty attitude, and he shakes his head. "Maybe I should have just gotten in trouble,” he grumbles, and Kazuki hits him hard in the stomach. "Ow!" Toshi doubles over and protects his stomach. "Stop being a brat!" Toshi goes to reach out to grab him, but then he pauses as he looks up.
A car is parked on the street with a person inside who is grabbing at their chest, and Toshi goes wide-eyed.
Kazuki blinks, and he looks at where Toshi is looking, then back at him. "They've been doing that for a while. Should we call someone?" Kazuki asks, and Toshi tears his gaze away to look at Kazuki.
“They have been?” Toshi asks, and he swallows as he looks back up. He’s trying to remember what their parents said to do, but he is drawing a blank.
“Yeah, that’s why I didn’t respond to you when you called my name. I was watching them. They were eating something, then started grabbing at their chest. I made eye contact with them, and then I was frozen because I couldn't remember what our parents said to do," Kazuki says.
Toshi makes a small, confused sound in the back of his throat, but he tries to reach out for Kazuki. Kazuki blinks but grabs Toshi’s hand. “We’re going back,” Toshi mumbles. Then they both turn away from the person and start to walk away. “Oh, pick up the phone,” Toshi motions to the phone he dropped earlier to Kazuki.
“Can I catch some Pokémon on the way back?” Kazuki asks as he lets go of Toshi’s hand to grip the phone with two hands, but he stays close.
Toshi swallows, and he moves his hand to rest against Kazuki’s upper back. “Uh, yeah, sure,” he says and is quiet for a while, with only the sounds of the game between them. He speaks again once they get closer to where they’re staying. “We don’t tell our parents anything, got it?” Toshi hisses to Kazuki.
Kazuki blinks as Toshi speaks, but he nods. “My lips are sealed,” he mutters.
“Good,” Toshi says with a sigh of relief, and they walk into the place they’re staying in as the sun sets.
But Izuku and Katsuki are waiting for the two, and Izuku frowns a little as he looks at them. "We need to talk," he says sternly.
And the two pups have never felt such fear before as they see their dam stand up as well.
"Now," Katsuki says.
Toshi and Kazuki look at each other, then back at their parents, as their scents spiked with anxiety. They were in so much trouble.
