It is just so good— so many new sensations to be explored, so many ways to take and be taken, sex still such a novelty. Melkor wants it never to end. He cannot understand, having now experienced it for himself, how the newly-awoken Children do not spend all of their waking hours doing this and this alone. Surely it does not feel so good for them as for him. Surely it can be nothing at all like it is when he joins with Mairon, for if it was then never would the Children waste their time with such frivolities as language and music and art when they could instead be doing this, day after day, without end.
