Summary
Leonardo Verlice could solve molecular equations in his head but needed three days to rehearse ordering coffee. A gamer, Stardew Valley romantic, and anxious prodigy, he’d spent most of his life socializing with people made of pixels and Discord avatars. But that, he decided, was going to change.
Grandridge University — prestigious, pompous, and painfully expensive — would be his grand reset. He’d study pre-med, make actual human friends (terrifying), and maybe learn eye contact without cardiac arrest. His plan? Join Arcadia, the university’s crown jewel fraternity — home to the rich, the charming, and the alarmingly symmetrical.
Somehow, he got in. Invited personally by the fraternity president, no less — a miracle or a clerical error of biblical proportions. It was all supposed to be perfect. Then came the weirdness: flames in impossible colors, objects floating, flowers bursting from concrete, and tunnels that definitely weren’t on the campus tour.
Oh, and a blood oath that didn’t sound nearly as symbolic as it should’ve.
Something magical — and possibly catastrophic — was brewing at Grandridge.
