Theo shifts slightly in his chair. “I suppose I’m just wondering if my being here wasn’t just you offering me a place to stay. If you wanted me here because you were tired of being alone.”
Draco’s expression doesn’t change. “And if I say yes?” he asks, a hint of that iciness people usually associate with him coating his tone. Theo nearly frowns. As if he could possibly be judging Draco for wanting a friend nearby to combat the loneliness.
“Then I would say I wish I had asked to come stay sooner,” Theo tells him. “Nott Manor was quite lonely, too.”
