Summary
When the trees remember how their roots were planted, and when the sky withers as it remembers all it has seen, and the very air you breath goes stale with a frail understanding of the sins of all it has touched, then, and only then, can you understand the pain of the earth as it cracks and attempts to grow under the overbearing weight of the grass scrambling for the sun. The blood that spills over the dry earth to hydrate the dandelions that have lived off the urine and saliva of animals that don’t know how to properly wonder at a plant that hides its true nature.
