Work Text:
Ulvio peered up at the sign in the shop window. No Beastframes Allowed, it read in neatly printed glyphs.
Well. This could be a problem. The fox minicon cocked his head in thought, sitting on the sidewalk in front of the shop next door.
He was running around Nyon doing deliveries as per usual, and the destination for his next package was that shop, and Ulvio knew that with that sign in the window, the shop employees probably wouldn’t open up for him.
"Something wrong, ears?” A voice broke Ulvio out of his thoughts. He turned to see a truckframe standing behind him, arms crossed.
“I’m a delivery mech,” Ulvio explained, and turned to face the shop again. “And my next delivery goes. . . there.”
“Ah,” the mech said. “I see your problem. You’d think it would have taken Nominus and Sentinel longer to dismantle all the laws Croceus Prime put in place against alt mode discrimination.” He shook his head. “What a shame.”
“Yeah,” the fox said with a note of grief in his voice. “You’d think.” He hadn’t known Croceus personally - she’d died before he was born - but his mother had.
