   Summary

   Fukushi’s ear is sore still and he can’t sleep on his side but he’s just decided that’s worth it, ‘cause the metal looks good, ‘cause Piercings is still fucking staring at him. Piercings hovers. Fukushi doesn’t fuck around with customers because they pay his rent and they are, by their very definition, dysfunctional as shit.

   But then so’s he. Pot, kettle.

   Or: Fukushi’s cynical, and clever, and maybe just a little lonely. Niragi’s finally on his own, trying to work out what kind of person he can bear becoming. It’s not much but it’s more than they’ve ever found so far, their thin sharp sliver of mutual recognition.
