Summary
Since his mother’s death the rain had become a symbol of both grief and comfort to Robert. After his father was murdered, he spent days in shock until the sky cried with him, and he caught a cold from the wet clothes sticking to his skin.
When Chase died. there was no rain for Robert to share his sorrows with. This somehow results in Robert sitting on a sidewalk on a Thursday, asking Waterboy to create artificial rain for him to help process his loss.
Waterboy is confused but doesn’t mind helping the wreck of a man out. Through their emotional connection they slowly become a pillar of comfort for each other.
Shenanigans ensue.(This is a rewrite; it will take a while to get to this actual scene + it starts with Blonde Blazor and ends with Waterboy as the romantic interest
+ shroud is more developed as a villain (because tf was that)
