He saw me and I need to run and I—
Kamiki Sakuma was my best friend. He was the person I tried to be, the person I tried to look up to when I was a kid. The rambunctious kid that kept making sure Misao and I were okay after Mum died. The outgoing boy I admired, and the boy I had feelings for, long before I understood that I didn’t like him as a boy.
And he saw me, in Misao's uniform, his eyes wide, his expression confused.
