Summary
“Eddie,” Steve whispered, afraid of his parents hearing him.
“Steve?” Eddie’s tone was now worried. He could hear in Steve’s voice that something was wrong.
“My parents,” Steve murmured, and the words started pouring out. “Th-They came home, and they know about me and you, and my dad beat me up, and I think I have another concussion. Eddie, I-“
“What are you doing?”
The voice in the background- angry, scary- turned Eddie’s blood to ice.
“Steve?”
The line clicked as the call ended.
Steve’s parents discover his and Eddie’s relationship and hurt him. Eddie comes to the rescue, and Eddie tells Steve how loved he is.
