Petite, brunette, with pale skin. That was Mir's type. Not only was this her type, she'd just seen the woman of her dreams. The old cafe on 52nd was were Mir worked her ass off during her $10 an hour shift. When taking her order, the girl said her name was Paige. Mir almost not breathing, she couldn't believe who she was seeing in front of her. The woman fit all the criteria: petite, brunette, pale skin, and a smile of gold. Her words were like velvet coming off her tongue. She asked for a pumpkin spiced latte with three pumps of caramel. Iced. Mir got off at 1:00 pm, and the time was currently 12:37. Three minutes left of her shift, felt more like three years. She couldn't wait to conversate with Paige, it was itching at her. So much so it was almost like she'd rolled around in itching powder. Hurrying up with the last order of her shift, she quickly made the last customers' order, almost messing up in such a rush. Mir quickly threw her apron off and almost sprinted around the counter to speak with her.
"Hi, I'm Mir" she stuck her hand out. "You're just so gorgeous, I couldn't pass up the chance to speak with you." Paige blushed.
"Ort Ort Ort" Paige began to loudly do her seal impressions. This made Mir fall even harder.
Paige stuck her petite hand out and shook Mir's. Mir couldn't even speak, her heart beating at the sound of light, her temperature rising just at the sight of her.
"I've never in my 19 years of living have I ever and I truly mean ever met someone who could impersonate a seal like you" spat Mir.
Paige chuckled. "I work at waffle house" . Mir's eyes lit up.
Just as their moment began, it ended. A fat penguin slid in the door of the cafe, with waffle house apron on. The penguin stood up on it's two feet and began penguin noises. Both girls turned their heads in confusion.
"Zack Morris?" they said in unison, "Is that you?"
Zack started spinning around on the floor again, then stood up. "Hi guys it's me"
"What are you doing here?" asked Paige.
"Can a gal not get some coffee nowadays?" Zack replied.
Suddenly a loud crash was heard. Everyone screaming in terror, and a large cloud a smoke appeared.
Shinji appeared out the smoke cloud, he had just crashed his EVA.
