    What if David/Charming never made it to the wardrobe in time and just as Regina held Emma in her arms, the curse caught them both? When Regina stands in Storybrooke for the first time, she brings Emma to the hospital only to hear a few days later that Mary Margaret Blanchard is trying to adopt little Emma. Regina, of course, can't have that and adopts Emma herself. How will the young saviour grow up? Will Regina be a good mother? And what about the curse?
