   Summary

   Mizu and Akemi's first encounter takes a turn from canon, after they had their mini-fight at Madame Kaji’s and Akemi is being pinned down. Akemi figures out that 1. her engagement with Taigen is a sham and 2. that there is no going back to the palace (and also 3. that she is attracted to women - or at least to one hell of a woman). With her exceptional wit, she comes up with an undeniably terrible plan to survive and seduce the only one person who refuses any company at Madame Kaji’s in an attempt to prove herself. This is from Akemi’s side mostly so you will see Mizu’s pronouns changing from he / him to she / her, sorry if that causes confusion!!! Hope the heads up helps
