“I want to try something new.”
That’s what Caitlyn had said. Six words. And she’d fucking melted. Because of course she did. Because Caitlyn was a fucking fantastic domme and had been there for her when she was a mess and barely holding herself together. She’d been there. And that mattered.
And here she was.
“I can hear your mind racing, darling. You’re alright. You can let go.” Caitlyn’s voice was soft, her words light and Vi could only imagine the way her lips would upturn at the corners in a reassuring smile. Not that she could see her, knelt in the middle of the floor as she was, naked as the day she was born. Eyes fixed on an imaginary spot between her knees while her hands rested in clenched fists on her thighs.
“We don’t have to do this, you know.” Caitlyn’s voice was closer now. Practically above her. Vi flinched as delicate fingers threaded through her shaggy red locks, scratching lightly at her scalp. Her breath escaped her in one long exhale as she bowed her head more to allow Caitlyn more access. “I suggested it because I truly think you’ll enjoy it. But we don’t have to. We can do something else. Play or otherwise.”
Vi’s breaths were deep, her eyelids falling as she sank into the sensation, into the pleasure. Her voice was rough when she finally managed to gather enough control to form into words. “I wanna try.”
“Okay,” Caitlyn’s fingers stilled. A frown pulled at Vi’s lips, a dissatisfied groan pulled from her throat. Caitlyn laughed, soft and light. Musical. “Good girl.”
A shiver raced down Vi’s spine, heat rushing through her, blooming across her cheeks and she bit her lip. Of course, none of this was missed by Caitlyn’s sharp eyes.
“You like that, huh?” She laughed again, her hand moving to caress the shaved side of Vi’s head. “Being called good girl?”
“Uh huh.”
“Good girl,” Caitlyn whispered. Then she was gone. Her warmth moved away. Vi blinked, her head lifting, immediately searching for the source of her lost attention. Caitlyn hadn’t moved far, Vi found her a moment later perched on the end of the bed, gazing down at her with a soft smile of her own. Blue eyes sparkling with amusement as she met Vi’s heated gaze.
Vi didn’t even realise she’d moved before Caitlyn made a ‘tch’ sound and shook her head. Pouting, she kept her gaze fixed on Caitlyn as she corrected her position back to her knees, shuffling as her muscles protested returning to the pose.
“Good girl.” Head once again flushed through her entire body. So much that Vi was sure by now her ears would be as bright as her hair as she blushed hard at the praise so freely given. Damn her, she half-heartedly cursed. Damn her for knowing exactly how to push my buttons. Turn me on…
Two sharp whistled notes pulled Vi’s focus out of her thoughts and back to the woman on the bed. “Atta girl. Eyes on me, yeah?”
Vi blinked, her focus entirely fixated on where Caitlyn was pointing just between her own eyes with one finger. God I want those fingers back on my head… Vi twitched, shaking her shoulders and blinked up at her, eyes wide and inviting. Desperate.
“Good girl, come here.” Caitlyn beckoned, crooking her finger. Vi couldn’t get across the room fast enough. Practically launching herself forward but not really propelling herself up to stand, more just forwards. So much so Caitlyn had to half catch her and help her kneel at her feet so she didn’t bang her knees too harshly.
“What an eager pup I have,” Cait laughed. But Vi didn’t feel self conscious. She knew she wasn’t being laughed at, but more with. It was funny. How with just a few ‘good girls’ she’d been turned into this stumbling, fumbling eager ball of limbs. Just like a puppy dog.
‘And wasn’t that exactly what Caitlyn had promised before the session?’ Vi thought. ‘That I didn’t have to think, just let go and do what comes naturally.’ Warmth flooded her chest, different to the heat from before now she’d figured out what this play was meant to be. Caitlyn had asked her to trust her and she did. And now she could let go.
Vi planted her butt on her heels and tucked her hands in between her legs, allowing them to rest on the floor so she was sitting in as close an approximation to how a dog sat and looked up at Caitlyn.
“Can I help you?” As hard as she tried, Caitlyn couldn’t quite keep the amusement from her voice. Especially not once Vi huffed sharply through her nose, following it up by butting her head against Caitlyn’s hands until they landed in her hair.
“Oh, is this what you want, puppy? Hmm?”
Vi snorted again, pressing her head up into her hand which Caitlyn rewarded with a few light scratches.
Then she stopped. Rude.
“You know…” Yes?
“Good dogs are allowed on the furniture.”
Yes! Vi felt energy flood her entire body, every nerve lighting up as she sat as straight as she could. I’m a good dog. Let me up. C’mon. Let me. I’m being good. Her body wriggled as she fought to control her excitement, weight shifting between her knees. Let me up, lemme up, lemme up.
“But…”
No!”
“You have to speak first.”
What?
“Speak, Violet.”
How was she meant to?
“Speak.” The most pitiful whine bled from her throat as Vi fixed Caitlyn with her most puppy-dog eyes. One hand came up, pawing at her knee. Caitlyn caught it gently in her own, lowering it back between Vi’s legs.
“Come on, Violet. Be good for me. One little bark. That’s all you have to do. You can do that, can’t you? Hmm? One little bark? For me? Speak.”
Bark? Oh. That was what puppies did, didn’t they.
“Wrr-ow!” The most high pitched tiny bark Vi had ever heard burst from her lips. Less like a big scary hound she’d been likened to in the past and more like a little yappy thing only good for keeping someone’s lap warm. Heat flooded her cheeks and her gaze dropped between her paws.
“Good girl!” Caitlyn’s face lit up, her hands coming straight up to cup Vi’s head, pressing kisses to her forehead and hair. Vi fought down a groan as she wiggled and panted at the fuss she was receiving. Blinking and winking up at Caitlyn desperate not to lose sight of her while also too far gone to keep both eyes fixed on her in every second.
“Good, good, good girl, Violet! Come on then! Up you come!” Caitlyn scooted back, settling herself against the headboard and patting the comforter beside her. Vi scrambled up, all clumsy limbs and eagerness until she could flop down beside her, panting lightly.
“Good girl,” Cait smiled down at her, combing her hair back from where it had fallen over her eyes. “My goodest girl.”
“Wrr-ow!”
“Yes you are! Now you’re showing off,” Cait beamed scratching at her scalp again and watching Vi melt. “Alright, it’s quiet time now, puppy. I’m going to sit here and put a movie on and you can snuggle in and get all the scratches you want, best girl. You’ve earned it. And then, when you’re ready, you can come back. But there’s no rush, okay pup?”
Vi let out a huff of air from her nose and blinked softly at Caitlyn. That was as close as she could get to words without barking and Caitlyn had said it was quiet time now so… Vi watched as Cait picked up the remote and started loading up a streaming service, flicking over to the family friendly animation movies they both loved unwinding to. They were just so easy to watch, funny and mindless. Then, once Caitlyn had settled in, Vi curled herself in tight next to her, laying her head across Cait’s thighs and snuffling at her hands until she took the hint and moved them to her hair.
“Good girl, puppy. That’s it, just let go…” Vi blinked through drooping eyes, barely watching the movie as Caitlyn once again threaded her fingers through her hair.
Maybe, just maybe, letting go wasn’t as bad as she’d thought…
