Chapter 1: Prolouge, Part-1

Chapter Text

You’ll never forget the day your happiness was taken.

Thinking lifes road wasn’t gonna be a bumpy one, you had been innocent like a child (in which you were).

The day was no different from other, clear skies far from impurities, forests illuminated with bright green. You had been playing with your fellow clan members who were children.

Among them was a brown haired boy named Pairo. His eyesight was a little off, but it was probably gonna be alright since his friend had gone to the outside world to find a doctor for him.

The clan leader rarely allowed anyone, especially children to go outside, so hearing that a boy your age went out was new for you. Pairo told you that he was set to return in a week or two, in which you felt was too long since he was only going out to explore the area and look for a doctor (but mostly because you wanted him to return as quick as possible to question him about the outside world).

The sky turned dark quickly as you’d been curiously asking Pairo everything about his friend that ventured outside. You’d always been curious about what came after the walls of your small world, always bothering your father about it.

Knowing your father was going to scold you for coming home so late, you bid farewell to your newfound friend.

Then it happened.

The bloodshed, the screams, the corpses, all of which you’d never forget for the rest of your life.

A group of people had came in, speaking a foreign language and assaulting your people.

You hid under your bed as soon as you heard the blood curling scream of your father who had gone outside to chat with his friends.

But when you heard the sound of your door opening violently, your face turned pale.

Now the intruders were in your room, checking closets and blabbering in what sounded like gibberish to you.

Holding your breath as hard as you can, tears were streaming down your face.

They finally left.

But you remained under your bed for hours.

Dawn arrived, it hadn’t been long since your heart calmed down. Gathering up your courage and getting out of the cramped space was relieving, but you were terrified as to what to expect of your father.

Eventually reaching the door, something in your mind told you not to open it but you needed to know whatever happened outside.

Your people, corpses badly assaulted, eyes missing and heavily mutilated.

Tears streaming down your face and legs weak, you hit the ground.

There was no more family,

No more home,

Now where should you go?
