    The movie opens with a bang—two characters already mid fight, shouting insults and threats towards each other. Sanemi doesn’t understand a second of it.

    Genya, on the other hand, makes no effort to feign even a fleeting interest. Her finger traces little circles against his side, slowly dancing higher to his chest. Her nail presses against his skin, tracing the rough outline of his scars through the thin fabric of his shirt.

    Sanemi suppresses a shiver, trying to stay focused on the ridiculous movie, but Genya is unrelenting. She tilts her head up, pressing a hot, slow kiss to his jaw. Sanemi’s breath shudders, his entire body tensing. He tries shooting her glare, but she just nips gently at his neck, her hand drifting to lower to slide beneath his shirt, palm splaying out against his stomach.
