Alhena's lips curved into a small, knowing smile. She reached up to tuck a strand of hair behind Dedra's ear, the gesture intimate in its casualness. "Are we jealous, love?"
Something in Dedra snapped at those words—not in anger, but in a rush of possessive desire that surprised even her. She caught Alhena's wrist, tugging her away from the door and toward the bedroom with a determination that brooked no argument.
