   Summary

   After a burst of accidental magic on an alcohol-fuelled night, Hermione Granger has become a murderer. Her boyfriend, Draco Malfoy, helps her to cover her crime but the act itself has caused a chasm between them that seems too wide to fix. Draco enlists the help of his widowed father, Lucius Malfoy, to cover Hermione’s deed, but after moving into Malfoy Manor, Hermione and Lucius find their whole worlds turned upside down, each other’s presence something new and unexpected. Lucius finds himself surprised by the formidable force that is Hermione Granger, and Hermione finds herself seeking the comfort of a Malfoy man, but exactly which Malfoy man she needs most is a question so unfathomably complex she can’t seem to answer it.
