Michael and Gerard were sitting on their bunk beds discussing about the new platoon that got deployed while waiting for Frank and Raymond to join them.
《You know, they always send younger soldiers first. I wonder if we're gonna be deployed soon.
- Don't say stupid things like that Gee. You know the battlefield is no fun.
- I was just trying to lighten up the mood, you seemed gloomy. And I already told you that nickname was ridiculous.》
Michael knew Gerard was ashamed of the nickname he gave him when they were children, that's why he used it any chance he got. He was still his little brother after all, it was his job to annoy him.
With that, Frank and Ray walked in the dorm. Frank had an arm slung over Ray's shoulders and looked quite roughed up.
Blood was streaming from his nose and he had a bruises on the jaw and cheekbone.
《Whoa, Frank!? What happened to you?
- He got into a fight over something stupid again, Ray answered, I tried to stop him but of course, he won't listen!》
Frank wiped of the blood on his face with the back of his hand, then looked up at Ray.
《It wasn't stupid! They called me a fucking f#g, He said vehemently.
- That's not the point, you know you'll only get in trouble with those fights of yours, responded Gerard while frowning slightly.
- Don't worry about me, plus I won!
- I do worry Frank! How many times have we told you to not be so reckless?!》
He opened his mouth to answer but closed it almost immediately, Frank had nothing to answer to that and honestly? He didn't want to argue with Gerard out of all people.
This isn't really a whole chapter but I wanted to know if yall liked the concept before writing everything!!
