Summary
March scowled at the invitation to the Aldarian Ball, torn within himself. He'd always wanted recognition for his work. He– foolishly, stubbornly– wanted to go to this ridiculous gathering, and shake hands with the King of Aldaria, and see April in a fancy dress.
In a void, it sounded like a dream come true.
Yet it was everything else in the Capital, lying in wait, that gave him pause. It was a past long forgotten and yet freshly burned.
