Jay was sitting on the monostary stairs when Kai told him to come quickly because they were going to start video games. Kai quickly grabbed Jays wrist.” COME ON😜” *jay winces making a noise* . Kai paused questioning him”are you o-“ suddenly it hit him. His breathing became shaky. “Jay pull up your sleeves..”. “No “Jay responded. “Jay I’m not asking you I’m TELLING you” Kai yelled at him.
The others slowly walked out the monostary. Nyas stomach dropped as she saw Kai standing in front of Jay while Jay was holding his wrist. Nya suddenly ran to Jay hugging him. She whispered in his ear “ I know, Jay it’s okay he’s just surprised“ The tears welling up in her eyes. She looked at Kai. “Nya I want to know what you know NOW!” Kai was yelling. Cole and Lloyd ran to Kai trying to calm him.
Jay was crying his eyes out at this point and Nya started crying as well. Kai stopped the guilt hitting him. He closed his eyes. “ I’m sorry…..” he was about to start crying as well. He quickly went over to their sides and gave them both a hug. They got up and went to replace the bandages. That’s when they realized how much Jay was doing it to himself. Nya knew but she didn’t know it was that bad. She talked to Jay and he confessed everything how he had nightmares that he was playing the game. And how restrictive his powers were.
~1 week later ~
Kai was sitting at the dinner table when he looked over at Nya and Jay doing a puzzle. He saw her arm, her sleeve was rolled up in the slightest bit. He was sad and disappointed with her. “Nya” she looked over at Kai. “Not you too” she had a confused look then she realized. She looked down and covered her wrist. Kai went over to her then. “Come on I just want to see” She hesitantly let go and let him pull up her msleeve. He gasped out loud. Lloyd who was going to the kitchen heard him gasp and quickened his walk. When he walked in Kai was crying because he couldn’t protect Nya.
Lloyd looked over and his stomach dropped. Now both of them were over by Nya who was crying. Jay was also crying because they knew that they were going to have to talk. And or get their rooms searched because of it. Lloyd couldn’t take it and left the kitchen. He went to his room with tears in his eyes. Cole and Zane saw this and Zane went after him . Cole went the direction that Lloyd came from and saw Jay and Nya sobbing. When he saw why he went to Jay to confrert him while Kai was conferring Nya. Zane came out of Lloyd’s room to get him water. When Zane saw what was happening he got the water and left.
Once this happened they had to do something. Seance Zane was a robot he couldn’t hurt himself. What he did do was put them all in one room. Jay and Nya sat next to each other in silence. Kai,Cole, and Lloyd sat in their own little group. Zane started in Jays room. He look in his drawers, under the bed, and other places. He looked at how many he found and it wasn’t bad but not good. He found 6 total. He went to Coles Kai’s then Lloyd’s. Last but not least Nyas room. He paused then continued. He went back to the room. Nya and Jay were gone. “Hey do you guys know where Nya and Jay are at?” Zane asked them. “ yeah ther-“ they looked over and they were gone. Zane started panicking and told them to look everywhere.
“The sunset is pretty isn’t it Nya.” . “It is” …. He looked over at Nya “I can’t believe they found out”. “I know Jay. You could have talked to me though we had the same traumatic experience. I have the nightmares too. I- I-“ . “You don’t have to say it. And I was kind of guessing you had dreams or flashbacks. “. He just hugged her. By this time they were looking for them. Lloyd walked out and looked around. He saw them on the roof together. “Hey guys we were looking for you” Jay looked over and saw Lloyd. “ Oh hey we came outside to see the sunset, care to join us?” Jay asked. “Yeah I’ll tell the others that I found you guys first “ Lloyd responded.
With that Lloyd walk and said found em. Lloyd then jumped up and climbed up. “Hey you guys made a good decision it is really pretty and… you guys aren’t alone.” Lloyd rolled his sleeve up a bit “ Jay and Nya looked and was surprised. “Lloyd why… just why” Nya was going to cry. “Look I know I shouldn’t I’m too young but we are the same age and the pressure from being the green ninja was a lot + my parental issues it was just to much I couldn’t handle it”. They looked over at Lloyd and told him we can talk whenever. The other remaining members were in the courtyard.
They had to get down and Lloyd went first. Jay went down then Nya because she wanted assistance with cuts that are pretty fresh even if jays were from the night before. They went back to the room. It was pretty tense. Zane had placed what he found on the table in front of them. “14 all together FOURTEEN things that were used. Guys Ik being a ninja is hard but you don’t have to suffer alone. Let’s go over how many were in each room. Jay 6” . The members turned to Jay. He had already been expecting them to look at him.”Nya 3,Kai 2, Cole 1, and Lloyd 2.”
Everyone was shocked about the amount that was in each persons room. Jays heart started beating faster. Not to mention the fact that he was starting to panic. Zane spotted Jay. Zane scanned him only to realize he was going to have a panic attack and quickly. Zane just quickly picked him up and took him somewhere quiet. He went to his room locked the door. Jay was put on the bed and Zane hugged him. He wouldn’t let go till Jay said he was okay.
“Hey Zane… thank you. And I will try my best to stop.” He looked up at Zane. Zane was taller than Jay by like 3 inches. “You’re welcome Jay may I ask a question?” Zane was asking respectfully. “ Yeah what’s up Zane” Jay said wiping a tear away. “ Uh I would like to know why would you sh if there is really no reason to? Sorry if that’s not in you comfort zone.” Zane was talking in such a polite tone. “ I-uh-I it’s complicated”
“ Thank you Zane for taking care of me I don’t know how grateful I could be.” Jay was being very genuine when he said that. “ No problem Jay “ Zane let them out of their room. Jay left knowing he still had one blade left. He decided he will not use it though. Jay said good night to Nya and they went there separate ways Jay climbed into bed and had the best sleep ever.
The next day jay got up and went to breakfast after changing and checking his bandages. When he walked in the room everyone looked at him because of the night before. They all had the same question . “ Yes I’m fine I just had a panic attack.” Zane was almost done cooking . “How are you physically” “ um I’m fine” Zane knew he was lying. The rest were just confused on what was happening.
“What are you guys talking about” Cole was curious. “ just-“ Zane was cut off. “STOP TALKING” Jay covered his mouth as realized what he said. The room was quiet taking in what Jay said. Zane apologized as he knew that he was sopposed to be quiet. Jay was silent for the rest of the time. He just wanted to train, and go play video games with Nya. Once he was done eating he changed into his gi.
In the kitchen
“ There’s something really wrong, with Jay he never does that. Ever.” Cole commented. “I’m aware” Kai was wondering what could be wrong. “Nya, Zane said you too what do you have to do with his lash out.” “ I know why he was acting out and it’s starting to affect me too. Because of the confession last night. And like I could tell he didn’t want to. But yk.” Nya was trying not to say everything. “Hey guys it doesn’t take that long to put on our gi’s right?”. “No, oh god I’ll go rn!”Cole got up quickly, he ran to jays room. “ JAY open please “ Jay opened as soon as he heard Cole ask like that. He was about to change so he had his undershirt and shorts. Jay was resting against the door frame.
Jay let him in before he was let in Jay had been fiddling with the blade. Jay felt the blood go down his wrist and onto his hand. He tried not to make any sudden movements. But he looked down just to see. Cole noticed and looked down himself. Then he saw the blood. He picked Jay up with swift movements and he started to go to the medical room. Jay was sqirming around and Cole was struggling.He passed by the kitchen and they saw Cole carrying Jay. Nya got up and went after them. Jay was put on a table and his sleeve was rolled up and was being bandaged.
Jay looked like he was going to start crying. Like he had done before. He had done a crying this week he couldn’t take it. He was going to go to the bridge tmmr. Once they were done he went back to his room and took a nap.
Everyone went to train before the late night. Jay got his food and he went outside by himself. After that everyone went to their rooms. Jay was going to his room when Nya came over to him and they went into the room alone. They ended spending the night in jays room.
Jay held Nya closely to his chest. Nya complied and they fell asleep together cuddling together. In the morning they woke up and Jay gave her clothes and he put on clothes himself. They walked out together. When they got to breakfast it was silent. “ Nice night huh?” Cole said teasingly. “We literally watched movies together and so shut up or do we have to go over what happened 2 weeks ago.”. Jay threatened him. Kai was red remembering that night. They both shut up. All of them ate their breakfast happily and as a group.
“ Meet at the steps in 10.” Jay was walking to his room when He heard foot steps behind him which was unusual for him. When he turned around he saw Nya. “Oh hey. Umm why are you following me?” Jay stopped. “ my gi is in there.” “Oh yeah. You looked really pretty last night.” He said then winked at her. “ Thank you” Nya was super flattered. Until she remembered what happened 2 days ago. “Jay Ik you uh remember what happened yesterday but ahh why would you.” “ Because of what I did that morning and so I felt bad and- actually I shouldn’t tell you.”-J
Nya was as going to leave when she saw a whole new box, of blades. She grabbed em and looked at Jay. He just looked at her tears welling up. She got up gave him a hug and walked away. Kai saw Nya come out the room with the box and knew. “Zane” Nya said urgently. “ Yes Nya what’s up.”
“ Here ya go” she handed him the box and left. Once she was back in her room she put actual clothes on then her gi. It was a coward with Jay but they trained and the finished with Jay.
“Hey Jay can I join you.”-N Jay ran off he ran until he could not run anymore. He got to the bridge he was getting ready to jump when he realized all the people who would miss him. He put his bag back on and walked back crying. When he got back the team was all sitting together and infont of them was his note. They perked up when they heard he doors open. Only to see Jay they all got up quickly and ran to him.
“IS IT REALLY YOU” Cole was shocked and happy at the same time. “ Yes it’s me Cole I missed you and I couldn’t do it. I stayed for you guys and my parents my “real” parents.” “AND IM SO GLAD YOU STAYED” they shouted together. They all got up and went to have dinner out as a team. And what better place then chens noodle house. They all changed into more comfortable clothes “ I have an idea. Nya drives this time.” Kai was confident in her driving. “ Oh okay I guess it’s been a little bit.” -Nya hesitantly replied
Nya got behind the wheel and Kai was next to her so he could guide her. “ Ok uh turn right at the next light”-Kai looked up she focused on it. “ NYA THATS LEFT”-Lloyd yelled from the back
“ OH MY GOD IM FAILING OK OK OK” she continued driving for a bit.
“ Nya flip a bitch here”-Kai told Nya “ What?” -Nya looked at Kai questioning
Jay sighed. “ Babe he means instead of turning to another street turn on to the road that runs the other direction”
“Oh okay”-Nya sighed
Nya turned around and after some more chaotic driving they got there. They walked in and they saw Skylor at one of the tables. “Sky!” When sky heard someone call her she was confused and then she saw her friends. She excused herself from the table and went up to her friends. “Hey table for six?”-Skylor said to the group “you know it” -Kai replied joyfully
“Nya, Jay you good?” -Skylor looked at them concerned
“Oh uh yeah we are good”-Jay
“Kay… Come on guys” -S
“And the usuals?”-S
“yeah uh can I get water this time though”-J
“Of course”-S
The group of ninjas sat down and they all were having small talk and laughing together. When their food came they had convosations but not a lot they were focused on eating. When they finished they paid and left a tip for their waiter. This time Lloyd was driving. Lloyd was good at driving but not as good as Kai. Both Nya and Lloyd had their perments.
“Lloyd turn left here”-Z.J
“Oh okay”-L
“Don’t ever forget your blinker!!”-Z.J
“ straight for a mile”-K
“ Okay ”
“ LLOYD TURN LEFT….BLINKER!”-Z.J
“ OH MY FUCKING GOD!”-Ll
“Pull over..”-Z.J
“Okay”-L
“I don’t think I’ve ever heard Lloyd curse before “-C
“Lloyd wait till we get back”-N&K
Lloyd pulled over and they switched Places. Lloyd was not ready to get home yet.
“ Hey can we make milkshakes when we get home”- J
“YEAH CAN WE!”-L
“Okay!”-K&Z

“Zane where ya going”-N
“ the store?”-Z
“ why?”-N
“ We need ice cream dumb ass”-K
“Kai I’m going to throw you in the ocean STOP CALLING ME A DUMB ASS”-N
