Summary
Atsushi is a "demon" who escaped a religious experimental orphanage. Who was first was going to be an experiment to see they can make a human weapon, but later on a pope found it and since it's skin was red due to the thing done to it, the pope thought it was a demon so they kept him as a demon and raised it till it turned 6 to be a sacrifice, but then the director saw the papers of it and still countiued the project secretly,
Akutagawa is a wealthy boy, who help his dad who was a tax collector, since he was a smart boy he usually helps him but his father mostly forced him to do his work, his mother hated the man she married, her marriage was an arrangement, and since her family was in debt they sold her to him, later on she would project the 'man of her dreams' onto her child and would say that she would hurt either herself or him.
These two meet at a job, an assassin mission, it was to raid both Akutagawa's father's factory and Nakajima's orphanage, since both of those buildings had info that their agency wanted.
