Work Text:

He stared down at the other demon, genuine amusement shined on Flames face, too bad it wouldn't be for long.

He was here, this was his moment of truth. It all would be settled right here, right now. A point of no return in the history of the server, a milestone in his own. In FlameFrangs history however this would be a humbling fight, showing him that he is not above everyone. And not above him, he was not letting the other walk all over him, just like he was taught.

Like he was taught in the tree house, in that tree house. He didn't like tree houses at all but the one he remembered was special, it was one of the safest places he knew throughout his life, for him and for Egg too. Void, he missed his best friend.

He missed seeing his friend dance around in the sky as the other flew around, stretching and using his wings after a long while of hiding. He missed seeing how the sun danced and across his feathers reflecting light and making the prettiest shapes with it.

He looked down just in time to hear a very familiar voice and the owner of it just a moment later.

Wemmbu was standing on the highest edge on the roof of this magnificent building. His medium long hair swayed dramatically with the winds, the rays of light danced across his face. He clutched Gambit in his hand, the weapon fit so good it was like it was meant for him, maybe it was.

Takedown, takedown

The words resounded in his mind, a constant echo of what he was planning to do. He was going to prove who the strongest is. He was going to show everyone the reality.

He was going crazy, he was sure of it. But he didn't care now, and probably not later. He couldn't afford to do it when he was going to fight one of the toughest fights in his life.

Wemmbu was going to put the immortal demon in his place, and the whole server would know.

Takedown, takedown

The deep and loud sound on his head continued and slowly turned into a deafening and resounding ringing that dominated his ears, until he couldn't hear Flames complains anymore.

"So fierce, so skilled in the fights, but hideous on the inside," he spat with venom in his voice as he mocked the strongest, "Whole life taking fights, but you can't hide now, nice try. I'm about to switch up the outcome of this, I finally opened my eyes." He saw the shocked expression of the other. He was sure Flame didn't think he was capable of this. He was underestimated and now it was time to prove it wrong.

They, mostly Wemmbu, had caused so much damage in the terrain, that Wemmbu doubted if it could even be repaired. After this fight this place would serve as a reminder of his victory. A showcase of his power.

"It's time to kick you straight back into the night, because I see your real self, and it's ugly as shit." The purple demon exclaimed gleefully as he mocked the fiery demon, "Time to put you in your place 'cause you're going soft, bro!"

"What?- wemmbu bro!" Flame yelped as he was tosed around by orbital strike shots. The terracotta flew in every direction making deep craters that went down to bedrock. If anyone fell in one of those it was a certain death.

"When your armour patterns start to show it makes the hatred wanna grow outta my veins." Wemmbu admitted trustfully, a smirk covered his face. This was what he waited for. He was sure he hit a nerve with that last sentence, Flames chestplate was like his logo, a form of identification, too bad he broke it now. The armor piece was gone now, shattered with the orbital cannons, just like his title.

The title Wemmbu was after.

He was going to humiliate Flame, just like the others had done to him. The whole world would know about who the winner of this fight was,"I don't think you're ready for the takedown. I'll break you into pieces in this world of pain."
.
.
.
"It's the takedown." wemmbu repeated, from his height advantage over the fiery demon. He watched how the eyes of the immortal demon widened, he finally understood what Wemmbu aimed for... what all of this was for. Flame underestimated him and now he was paying his price.

Flame stared up at him, genuine disbelief on his posture, it wasn't fear, not yet. But he didn't see it in Flames eyes of course, he was wearing a blindfold afterall. He is enjoying this, and he would enjoy being the strongest.

"A fighter with no purpose doesn't deserve to live, it's so obvious," Wemmbu was full on laughing at Flame begin tossed around by the stab shots and his mace  "Im geared up to take you down!"

"What!?" Flame exclaimed surprised, he heard this words before, there was no way Wemmbu quoted his brothers exact words without training with him.  The mace user didn't care about what Flame was thinking, he came here to win."I'm gonna take you out, and it ain't gonna stop."

"You'll be begging and crying. You are dying, I never miss my shot. Look at all the players that you're fooling!" This time Wemmbu snapped confidently, like it was something he was keeping guarded for a while. At that moment The immortal fell and The new strongest rose up. Just like hoped, just like his master wanted.

.
.
.

"Youll never be the strongest ever again." The words were uttered in the deepest orbital crafter, they weren't a couple of mere words, of course not. Those words marked the end of The immortal demon and marked the rise of The mace wielder.

Flames whole world crumbled as he fell and Wemmbu's world started once more as he reached the top again.

The mesa was completely destroyed, craters everywhere, cobwebs and some enderchest could be found in the dystopic terrain. The sky was clear, the sun shining bright accompanying his victory.

This time as the strongest, as someone to respect, to look up to.
