He doesn’t answer right away, and instead presses his lips to hers in a heated kiss; then his face into her neck, lining the length of her skin with wet kisses. She melts into it easily, threading her fingers into his hair.
“I didn’t like hearing that word,” he murmurs eventually. “Friends don’t kiss the way we do, and they certainly don’t have sex like us either.”
