Summary
In a brutal ambush on Tatarasuna, Tartaglia is blinded by smoke. Kazuha, already burning with a secretly injected aphrodisiac, throws himself into the enemy captain’s blade as living bait, guiding Tartaglia’s final, lethal strike.
Only later, beneath the Almighty Shogun’s statue, does Tartaglia learn the truth: Kazuha had already slit the throat of the first soldier who tried to strip him while the drug took hold.
