He should of known that the box was suspicious, and now in the middle of nowhere in America, sat both a tiny girl who calls him 'Tsuna-nii" and they were eating pancakes at a diner that was oddly silent.
"Good afternoon my adorable Tuna-Fishy, how can I-"
"Hey dad, so like you know how like you promised that you would do anything for me and help me figure out what to do if I don't know what to do?"
"... What happen?"
"I think you should speak to the one who can explain this..."
He hands over the cell phone to Yuni who happily took it.
"Hello Mr. Sawada Iemitsu! I'm Yuni Giglio Nero, Giglio Nero Decima. My uncle hired your son to transport me to go to a location, but he didn't know he was actually human trafficking me to Italy but we got lost and ended up in America. Now the others think he kidnapped me."
She then handed it back to him.
"So uh, what do I do dad? I think I got roped in some mafia thing."
"... I'll come pick you up, get to New York and to this location I just pinged in our group chat."
Tsuna winced, cringing at the fact that he had blindsided his dad with this information.
- Sawada Iemitsu was no fool, he's good at his job and he is certainly good at fooling everyone around him to think he is super incompetent outside of his job. Thus allows him to have a secret family outside of Vongola entirely.
- So good in fact that his son lives happily being a latent sky, his worries of him becoming active was all just worry and he happily spoils the both of his family, his wife and son. Even going as far as allowing them to go on vacations outside the country and Tsuna to studying abroad and even getting hobbies.
Said hobbies wonder if he took after him far too much. All hobbies being quite suitable for becoming a mafioso. - It's unfortunate when he finds out that somehow, he figures out Demon Spade was the cause and had killed his bosses son and left one in a Coma.
Forcing him to be more active and tell the old coots to fuck off and let Xanxus take over because he sure as hell wasn't going to be Decimo. Mostly because he enjoys his limited time with his family and he wasn't about to drag them into the criminal world.
Thankfully, with the help of the shades of Vongola Primo and his other guardians, he manages to seal and get Vindice to arrest Demon Spade and ensure that he'll never see daylight. All for the sake of his family. - This does get questioning why Iemitsu didn't take the opportunity to become Vongola Decimo, but he had firmly taken Xanxus to the side that as long as he doesn't involve him or any of his blood then he is free to go forward on renovating and restructuring Vongola.
Xanxus immediately catches on that Iemitsu does indeed has probably and likely sired a possible heir but is refusing to allow him to join the inheritance, which meant an actual legitimate heir by blood instead of the distantly related relative Xanxus.
Xanxus also gets that he should keep this secret to the grave as it meant one last road block and he wasn't about to slap away the olive branch that Iemitsu is offering. Keep his family out of it and the throne is his. - This means Tsuna moves on to being the free-spirited teen that wasn't snuffed out as a young age. It also meant that he was also surrounded by many people.
Which ends up him being friends with Yamamoto Takeshi and Kurokawa Hana, distant relatives via his mother side. - The high school and college shenanigans they went through was left unspoken but when reminded of such, Hana was very violent in reminding them that it never happened and stays that way.
- Tsuna ends up being an odd-job worker, while Takeshi became a business man, which both Hana and Tsuna was sure he was actually doing something that was on other side of the law. He wasn't even sure if his dad worked as a construction worker but he was sure Vongola was a elite company that was kept private, as in probably a secret organization that ruled the world.
Plus even his dad took one look and took Takeshi to the side and then Takeshi shook his hand and they kept their mouth shut.
Meanwhile Hana became a Lawyer and she has drained so many politician and rich folk dry as a public defender. He wonders how she could sleep so well at night but it seems his dad done something to make sure she stayed safe. - Tsuna turns a blind eye to whatever his dad is doing, he was an actual good dad and a good husband to his mom so he can do whatever he wants as long he didn't make his mom cry.
- Moving back to him being an odd-job worker, he ends up accepting a 'job' from some guy called 'Checkerface.'
This is where he fucked up, he should of said no. - He agrees to take something to Italy to some kind of clearing and Tsuna didn't think to actually check if he should.
- During the drive to go to the airport, the box moved and Tsuna had to pull to the side and check because nothing should of move because he was told he wasn't transporting or trafficking anything alive.
- He meets one tied up Yuni and he screams.
- He ends up untying her and asking if she need someone to call to which, she giggled and shook her head. This is what should have alarmed him.
- Tsuna ends up taking her to the diner after a series of incidents, a group that Yuni clearly knew thought he kidnapped her.
He was suddenly fearing for his life as they tried to kill him. Much to his shock, Yuni explains what was going on. Tsuna cried in dismay as he realized the little girl he was assigned to deliver turns out to be a mafia boss. - His dad thankfully helps him calm down when he drove both Yuni and himself to New York to a private jet hanger.
- His name was cleared up but now he's being trained to be the next heir to his dad's position.
- The group who thought he kidnapped Yuni ends up bothering him many. Many times. They're getting pissed that he's choosing his new found friends over them. Especially when two of them, he actually bonds with because Skull turns out to be a chill guy and Tsuna was not one to say no to that and Mammon-san who he happily lets them invest his money because he never really needed much and Mammon-san was very persistent he do something about the stocks he owns.
- Tsuna meets Xanxus and he gets along with him so well, even more so when Tsuna gives him all the alcohol he was given as gifts for the jobs he did.
Though he doesn't like Vongola Nono, but he's polite and happily pushes that he doesn't mind following his dad's footsteps and becoming the CEDEF head. - Somehow Yuni after ten years breaks down his door to his office after he becomes CEDEF Head, demanding he marry her.
He manages to refuse and fear for his life because he knew how persistent she could be during their impromptu road trip ten years ago. - During those past ten years, he forgot about Checkerface's deal and somehow fixes that whole curse thing. The man first became angry and then later tired and reluctant, eventually seeming to accept it after Yuni talked to him.
The man ends up kidnapping him often to complain like old people do.
Tsuna endures it because the other had really, really good liquor.
