    To give is to take during a philosophical debate. To debate there must be an understanding in language. Terms must be agreed upon and phrases must be translated faithfully between groups. You can only truly give your argument if you are able to take into consideration theirs. It was a perverted mixing of ideologies. It was a war where both sides must fight nude. It was the only type of love that thrived in its worst form. Both parties carve out the most vulnerable parts of their beliefs in the hopes that the other will accept it; knowing– in truth– that neither party will change.
