Inverse Trio

Summary:

Not Danny became a Halfa, but Tucker did. Yet all three of their lives changed. Tucker became a hero, Sam became their go-to medical expert - branding her as a nerd to the A-List - and Danny, in his remorse to be responsible for Tucker, became the Residental Emo. Short One Shot.

Work Text:

When Jazz Fenton knew one thing, then that her brother didn't process Tucker's accident well. Danny, now an emo that gave in terms of darkness Sam's goth phase a run for her money, acts as if it is his fault their parent's portal shocked Tucker. Then again, she does not know what had happened that August evening, so maybe it was his fault.

But considering Tucker and the Foley's tell Danny they aren't angry with him, maybe Danny should let go.

Sam was used to patch up Tucker and sometimes Danny. She ditched her goth clothing when it became clear she would be the medic of the team, goth clothes just aren't made for this. Instead of more gothic accessories, she used her insane allowance for first aid kits and books on medical topics. As well as on herbology here and there.

Sam tightened the last bandage on Tucker's back. The Lichtenberg scar was contrasting on his skin.

"Are you sure you don' need help patching up Tuck?" Danny - now asking to be called Dante - asked.

Sam waved him off. "Tuck's all done." She stood up. "Your fight against Overgrowth, Tucker, somehow gave you less injuries then rescuing Dante from Plasmius." She then added, "Albeit your new abilities..."

"Give me some slack! Electricity powers... aren't the nicest Deja Vu." Tucker told her. "But I still managed to set him on fire like a tree in a lightning storm, so it wasn't that bad!"

Dante stepped back. "The electricity right. I-I am so sorry you had to live though this. Reliving your death..."

Now Tucker waved him off while rolling his eyes. "Dante-Danny, stop it. It wasn't your fault, it was my idea to take a closer look at the portal. And I won't say that I relived the accident. The core awakening felt different. Like when I drank three energy drinks back to back."

"But still, it-"

"Say it ruined my life one more time or I tell the Box Ghost your attic room is fair play." Tucker threatened playfully.
