    Summary

Spider-man wasn't there when the Sokovia Accords were signed, when pen was put to paper by the hands of those who were supposed to be their saviours. He wasn't there when the implications of what they had just agreed to hit the Avengers like a freight train.
    _____

    OR

AU where Spider-Man never did sign the accords but all the Avengers did. Welcome to my little fucked up corner of the time line where Peter never befriends Tony, goes to Germany or avoids the dynamic duo of Deadpool and Daredevil.

Bring your popcorn, silence your phones, and prepare for the fic of my dreams!! I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I loved writing it <3

    Summary

Peter wasn’t going to let May pay the rent all on her own. Not when there was two of them, not when being Spider-Man made everything that much harder.

And if that meant washing scratched up dishes and scrubbing old blood from the tile grout at Sister Margaret’s School for Wayward Girls, then so be it.

But then one night, his skin turned blue.

(If only his problems didn’t multiply from there.)

    Summary

    Danny's lost basically everything.
After escaping his parents he flew as hard and fast as he could.

Why did his core pull him to Gotham?

And why did Robin look at him like that?

    --

A lost brothers hurt/comfort story. Lots of angst at the start, lots of fluff and a bit of crack after!

-indefinite hiatus due to creative burnout, still a fun short read if you're interested though :)

Omfg this series was so fucking incredible, seriously, wow, reread reread reread again please if anyone sees this it’s 100% worth it even though it’s incomplete

    P1
"You know how to throw a punch?"
Peter stops fidgeting and his heartbeat slows as he breathes deep and forces it to calm. The endorphins aren't quite there yet but he can almost taste the excitement, the hopefulness. Like carmel, like yellow, like tacky sweetness.
"Don't tuck your thumb into your hand and keep your wrist and arm straight?"
    He has the basics.
    That's a good start.
    Right?

(Matt accidentally acquires one Peter Parker at the ripe old age of eleven and becomes the mentor he never wanted to be)

    P2
Multitasking, Peter thinks, is an underrated skill.
For example, he can in fact run from pursuers while fighting off an asthma attack and through a twisted ankle.
And, don't forget, while dragging someone with him, oh ho, next level shit right there.
    Who knew?

(Peter's got that Parker Luck™ and makes some new friends along the way, while Matt is about one stab wound away from an existential crisis)

    P3
Working pro bono is good for the heart but bad for the wallet.
He doesn't regret it, not really.
    They're helping people.
    They're making their lives better.
That's all Foggy really wants to do, even though he'd really like a consistent income because hello? consistent income? who doesn't want that?
But now there's money on his desk.
That he did not put there.
"Karen, do we perchance have money goblins?" He asks cautiously.

(Foggy is tired, Karen is stressed, Matt is having a bad time, and Peter would really like to fight literally everyone, but specifically Stick and Elektra)

    P4
Peter didn't need a sign or a symbol.
He just needed something to keep all of the red on the inside.
To turn bullet holes and knife wounds into bruises and scrapes.
    Melvin makes him one anyway.

(Ned and Michelle are Suspicious, Parker Luck™ is once again in play, and Peter keeps finding people's dogs. Why's everybody loosin' their dogs???)
    Series

    P5
Smoke is rising through the air like jagged fingers.
It's Hell's Kitchen and he's eleven years old.
It's his city going up in flames, it's his heart rising in his throat, it's his friends that might be dead.
It's watching Sokovia fall from the sky half a world away all over again.
    But it's different this time.
It's different this time because this time Peter can do something.

(Peter is spiralling until suddenly he isn't, Bucky Barnes gets the advocate he never asked for, and Civil War goes slightly, marginally, better)

    (Defenders goes the same)
    Series

    P6
"I'm not Tony Stark," he growls, "and I don't need your help."
Miss Potts grabs one of his wrists, slowly, choreographed, and peels open his fingers.
Blood runs down his arm in rivulets from crescent moon cuts.
"Yes," she intones with a terrible finality, "you do."

(Peter learns how to cope with grief as things stop getting worse and start getting better)

    P7
Peter hasn’t left New York since Germany.
    Since Siberia.
It leaves a bad taste in his mouth.
    Leaving New York?
    Never goes well for him.
    Going on field trips?
    Always ends badly.
    At the same time?
Putting them together feels like a recipe for disaster.

(Peter Parker and the horrible, no good, very bad series of events. MJ is right about everything, Ned is the only sane one here, and WOW he thought the Luck was bad before, but get a load of THIS)

(6/15: PSA: stop asking me if this is abandoned or discontinued, I'm just busy, it's very irritating!!!)
Taps the sign. 02/07/26. Hiatus does not change the sentiment. I write for fun, not my job. I am a stranger on the internet, doing this for fun, and you are not entitled to my time. To all the wonderful and sweet comments, who are the majority, telling me to take my time and you'll be here regardless of if it updates or not, this is NOT about you. Others, stop asking me to update. I WILL punish the whole class and not update out of spite. Have some decorum. Thanks

    Summary

“Hey–” Toby starts, and then doesn’t know how to keep going.
    Jim turns around.
“Yeah?” He asks and grabs for his– he thinks it’s a casserole. “What’s up, Tobes?”
For a moment, it feels like there’s an iron grip around his throat.
    Or maybe a stone one.
“Did I tell you about how one of those trolls totally had like six eyes?”
    Jim smiles at him.
“You did.” He slides the casserole into the oven, and then leans his hip against the counter, something unreadable in his eyes. “We’ve got time, though. Tell me again.”
    Toby does.

(Toby dies, Belroc lights the world aflame, and for the first time in his life, Jim chooses to be selfish)
